Rose, L'Estrange & Henry likely signings

Doust signed them for over inflated contracts but you can't blame the players its not like he's going to say sorry I'm not worth that much and you know managers want their piece of the pie.

He is responsible for the mess and the players who are on way to much money I'd say 3/4's of the entire squad.

Can Mulholland fix the problem maybe but its going to mean a wooden spoon is a massive possibility only the players can rise and show the league community they are better then that.

L'Estrange and 'Bean' Henry confirmed.
Harrison, Pumipi, Ailaomai and Mataka gone.

The St George Illawarra Dragons have announced that Heath Le’Estrange and Bean Henry have both agreed to terms on respective one-year contracts that will each join the Club until at least the end of 2015.

Heath L’Estrange, 29, can also player hooker and made his debut for the Sydney Roosters during the 2004 season before joining the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 2008.

The Hills Bulls juniors won an NRL Premiership (2008) during his tenure with the Sea-Eagles before joining the Bradford Bulls in the English Super League in (2010-13).

L’Estrange returned to the Roosters last season and arrives at the Dragons having played 175 NRL games to date.

Beau Henry is a local Warilla Gorillas junior who returns to the Club after previously being part of the Dragons National Youth Competition team before joining the Newcastle Knights in 2011.

Henry, 24, who can play as five-eighth or halfback, later departed the Knights to join the Gold Coast Titans (2011-14) and has played 14 NRL games to date.

The Dragons have also confirmed that Josh Ailaomai, Bronson Harrison, Willie Mataka and Shane Pumipi will not be at the Club in 2015.

Well I'm not going to death ride any of these blokes we've signed - unlike most on here. I'm not pissed off at them. Good luck to them. They'll be pulling on a Dragons jersey & that's good in my eyes. We needed a change & that's what we've got.

That's all well and good but it you can just imagine an article like this one in a year's time.

"The Dragons have also confirmed that Jake Marketo, Beau Henry, Heath Le'strange, George Rose and Nathan Green will not be at the Club in 2016"

But good luck to them and all that..

In the absence of securing top shelf players these make some sense. Not likely going to give us a premiership but we are locked in with them either. Hopefully can pick up what we really need from the player market next year. The challenge will be to perform competitively as a team in 2015 so players want to come join us.
