Friday Night:
Storm v. Warriors - 16k - One of the Storm's highest drawing games, no AFL competition
Titans v. Raiders - 20k - Sell out regardless of who they play

Saturday Night:
Sydney v. Souths - 13k - 14th v. 15th, enough said
Knights v. Manly - 25k - Strong rivalry from this year
Parramatta v. Penrith - 15k - Local derby

Sunday Arvo:
Broncos v. Cowboys - 50k - Should be close to a sellout
Bulldogs v. Dragons - 30k - Two of Sydney's biggest teams

Monday Night:
Wests v. Sharks - 16k - Played at Leichhardt could draw a strong crowd IMO

16k on a monday night, i doubt that, monday night is basically TV viewing for those of us who dont care to see pre teen soft core porn at summer bar,i only see it getting 16k cos of game 1, rest of the year crowds wont make more than 7k, no matter who, monday is stupid, sunday avo 3 games and the 2nd 7.30 should be a 3pm saturday game

I have a feeling Souths vs Roosters will be the Monday game.

so what roosterbooster has posted isnt confirmed yet?

it wouldnt surprise me if tigers were on mondays more than ayone else at home since no one in campbeltown has a job so tuesday mornings are of no concern, thats the only way monday nights will work because they will hamper the crowd averages, itll be the highest rating match of the round in terms of viewers, but lowest attended

Lights at Cambo & Leichhardt are crap, Wests will request day games only there still Id say.
Maybe the Telstra games will get the Monday gig....but like someone above, I think Mondays will be a dud....big time.

I agree, I think the two Friday night games and Monday nights will also heavily effect Season Ticket Holder numbers as well.

Titans will draw a crowd regardless of who they play in Round 1, let Cowboys and Broncos continue their rivalry.

Titans should play one of NZ, Canberra or Melbourne

Titans will play St George or Newcastle. I guarantee it.

Melbourne will definitely play at home.
Brisbane will definitely play the Cowboys at Suncorp on Friday Night.
The Titans will play at home.

IMO, Melbourne should play the Broncos in Round 2 at the Telstra Dome. With no AFL to compete with, they should draw 25k+.

I think we all agree Monday nights will affect attendances for those games. Knowing that, the only fair way to approach it is to evenly distribute that penalty. With 25 rounds next year, each team needs to host at least one Monday night game (16 matches) but no team needs to host more than two (another 9 matches). The seven teams that host only one, would host two the following year. If they only have 24 Monday night games (ie. no Monday night game in the last round before the finals) then it breaks down evenly with 8 teams hosting two games and 8 hosting one game with the split alternating each year. Either way, that still leaves each team 10 or 11 home games out of 12 not being played on Monday night so I can't see why it'd be a legitimate excuse for a dramatic drop in their season average or season ticket sales. It's not as if we're asking the fans of any one team to turn on Mondays week after week.

Leigh.
