Young Ken Sio...he has the making of a good young winger
Tall, big frame, quick and seems pretty keen to improve

Im sure he is from Otara too

This. Numerous games last season, he was the only decent player the Eels had on the field. Would be the perfect pick-up for us...

Yeah if he doesnt kick on to be a star.
It would give enough time for David fusitua to come trhough.

Fusitua has two year in 20s but will play NRL in 2014 imo

Willie Tonga would be a liability, we've already got one centre that is always breaking down, we don't need another.

Manly are over the too.
They expected to release Brent Kite to tigers.

They have made some good value quality signings:
Ligi Sao, Pita Hiku (Warriors) Chee Kam (raiders), Faaoso (Storm), Esi Tonga, Justin Horo (Parra) . . . .

Im sure we could pick up some good depth players from manly.

I read somewhere that we've already been offered him and turned him down. Which surprised me a bit, not that I didn't think it was a good decision.

Interested in talk of Sio having a big frame. Six foot and 92kgs isn't that big, right?

And I really don't believe this Eels stuff...I refuse to believe anyone would be so ridiculous to take such a proposition to the NRL. It hasn't got a snowball's chance and the other 15 clubs would be throwing their arms up in outrage

Mate I dont bother reading stats from player profiles as the generally pretty in accurate.
thats from watching him on tv.

A frame ... by that I mean something he can add to - i.e Israel Folau has a good frame - long arms, tall but needs to add some muscle.
But perhaps what I should have written as good frame.
He seems decent height, somebody who could easily add some lean muscle to his build.

Similar to David Fusitua, who is still a skinny fella but potential and overall be a perfect build of a NRL winger.

I'd sign Ken Sio in a heartbeat, has some defensive issues but he's a good finisher, competent under the high ball and an all round improvement on Billy Tupou. Not a lot that interests me at Manly besides the players they'd never release in a million years. Only depth player they have that I'd take at the warriors is Michael Chee Kam but with his potential I don't see them letting him go either.

No doubt Ken Sio>Bill Tupou. I liked all I saw from Sio this year. Apart from all the good footballing things he can do, the best quality was his ticker in a poor side. I'd have him.

I remembered him being quite small so I googled for a height/weight stat, which you're right can often be completely wrong.

Personally I view it as:
Fullback: Locke (Tui and Fish depth)
Wingers: Tupou and Vatuvei
Centres: Nielsen and Ropati (Tui, Peyroux and Hurrell depth)
Halves: Johnson and Leuluai (Tui, Harry and Godinet depth)
Second Row: Martel, Mannering, Lowrie, Henry (Lousi and Taylor depth)
Front Row: Matulino, Package, Rapira, Lillyman (Bishop, Mara, Lousi, Gubb, Rapira depth)

friend is an 80 minute player but i think we need and interchange hooker who can create some spark in attack when he comes on. so who ever performs the best in the trials out of ropatie and godinet i will give them the bench spot. both can cover a few different spots as well if their is any injurie.
