But your limiting love for "authority" means you're trapped into singing the guy's praises, just because he blagged the job through political connections, or thanks to a great powerpoint during interview

So, tell me how authority figures Pell or Brian Houston can do no wrong either...

I think you're confusing character with ability. It's obvious that scumbags crave authority. The fact is though that morons never get there.

Is Kearney a scumbag? I wouldn't know. Is he stupid? I seriously doubt it.

Few coaches reach the dizzying heights of the front office. Especially ones that have played first grade.
Your point is? Few first grade players make the dizzying heights of club first grade coach.

Kearney shouldn't have... but your blind adherence to authority and hierarchy prevent you from having an actual opinion on such matters.

Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir... What's that Father - a church camping trip? Sounds like fun...

I thought the effort tonight was very good, thy had a massive dig and never gave up.

Not much went our way and losing Normie was a killer.

Only problems were our right side defence and the fact our coach continually sees something in Luke Kelly only him and Pou do. Hopefully Foran and Norman are back next week i reckon we can give the cowboys a shake.

Funny thing is, if Arthur does drop Kelly for Cornish, Pou will come out fully in favour next week - basing his turnaround on how the coach simply must always be right (this time, if not the week before).

Kelly was obviously very poor in attack. He was never intended to be the primary playmaker.

Held his own in defence though, and coped well as sole kicker.

I doubt he's a scumbag. But I don't doubt doubt he's stupid, in the (thankfully short) role of a first grade head coach.

Question authority (or character) of your "betters" sometimes - you might find it turns out ok

A coach that has achieved absolutely nothing so far, if we do miss the 8 no doubt you will have oodles of excuses at the ready. it's what you do, he must have the job so he must know better then anybody else...........

There are surely people who know better than him. You're just not one of them.

But if Arthur "tries something new" next week and picks Cornish - and it works out well - will you admit you were wrong about Kelly being the best choice this week?

Or are you only interested in spouting truisms, thinking that coaches (and leaders, and cardinals) are all infallible and their poor choices should never be criticised?

I'm fearing that neither Foran or Norman might be ready next week... now that would suck.

6. Edwards
7. Pritchard
9. Peats
14. Gower

If you're too insecure to take orders you'll never be in a position to give them. Being in charge is a big responsibility.

Broncos defensive line speed was fantastic.
Same with speed at their play the ball.
For most of the game we were unable to match them.
Our never say die defence was impressive.
Our attack was awful but I have no doubt it will get better and better as this season unfolds.
Kelly was awful. Overall, our backs were disappointing.
Lots to like about our 2016 forward pack... Scott, Mau, Edwards, Peats, Pritchard, Terepo, Mannah, etc... Though not at his best tonight, I see Tepai having a fantastic future.
It's looking up and up for me.
Inclusion of Gower and Wicks is required

And neither are you, tell us all again how Cornish would have done worse then Kelly. I love it when you spout BS and state it as fact.

Only someone like you could find a positive out of Kelly's game, he single handedly did everything he could to stop us from mounting any sort of comeback.

Just don't forget knowledge is power, which means it's not as freely available as you assume. Whatever decisions you're making, you're making them with less information than those with more power than you.

That means your decisions are generally less reliable.

lol. Sure I can take orders, but don't blindly follow leaders. There's a difference.

Might be true in forces talk. To some peope being in charge comes naturally.

Kearney wasn't one of them. If his coaching career was served in the forces, he would have ben shifted back to a desk job and pensioned off quick smart.

I will be very surprised if Cornish plays ahead of Kelly next week. But if he does and you need me to admit I'm wrong, I'll do it right now in advance. Being wrong isn't the big deal you seem to think it is. You're very insecure about it. Probably because you've never had any authority.

I reckon if Cornish had played the Broncos would have put 30 on us.

Warren Ryan made him captain at 21. Your obsession with Kearney is amusing though. Forever looking for a scapegoat.

Agree with the first sentence. But power is not a static force, and it's how you use what power/knowledge you have that counts. There are individual differences in skill levels that can counteract the impact of power differentials.

My decisions are fine thanks. And since we're only talking about opinions (rather than decisions), I'm quite happy in those as well. Is it really your opinion that we should stick with kelly next week - or is it your opinion that you'll just acept what the powers that be decide, and fall in behind in support?

Just got back from th game

With 10 minutes to go, a rather large fan stood up in front of the coaches box and yelled at BA " just get him off, he is friggin useless and not a footballers a..hole" he continued shouting and more stood up and joined in. Much applause for him in the Thornett stand

Don't think it would have been shown on TV and my daughter who was sat opposite through the it may have been a fight given the commotion

Some good players tonight, Scott, Gordon Mau, Pritchard livened up the whole process

Kelly is at least half a step behind every play, most obvious were his passes as players went past him as he was too slow in setting up and they went to ground.that coupled with his slowness in general. He as absolutely dreadful and if he is picked again it's a pretty damning indictment on the coaching staff

As I walked out the comments were, he wouldnt get a game at Cabramatta, the fans were pissed off big time that he was in the team, he is nowhere near NRL level and never will be

Sorry Pou, but that's really what it was like
