I thought this game was a good example of what we're gonna get this year. Not gonna win by a lot. Not gonna lose by a lot. Most of the time we'll beat the worst teams and most of the time we'll lose to the best teams. But still room to improve.

I think also that (apart from Lloyd Perret) Manly are a good team.

Lucky win there. A combination of poor handling from the Sea Slugs, some dodgy ref calls and an eels attack that had less venom than a green tree snake. On top of that, we had more ball than last nights Mardi Gras. I doubt BA would be happy with the performance apart from the two points. We need to be meaner.

Good win, didn't get to cute, held onto the ball, competed for eighty minutes and forced plenty of errors.

Yes it wasn't pretty, but I'm betting it's the kind of win BA would be very f**kin' happy about.
