Um we essentially went to the UK for the money. Guaranteed payment for the trip. Lame point.
The social media person was a niece or nephew of the Tynans. Common knowledge. Name in the red v magazines if you can read it. They're finally getting around to actually paying someone again. After 4 years.
Yes asking builder mates is cheap and cost effective (i did say we were doing everything on the cheap - this is my point) and haphazard and embarrassing.
Liz Steet spent her career as a physio, now in charge of our entire Medical Science. Not beyond the realms of probability that she joined for the opportunity, not money.
Mulholland, meh. Not exactly a bank breaker. He was out of a job.
The only exceptions are the Bennett and Bellamy (failed) attempts. And after failing on both we settled for whoever was cheap and in the building. Tends to suggest we have third party benefactors willing to bankroll the very best and only the best, but aside from that we're on our own - forcing us to go cheap. "Prove it" says Jubileebarbrady.
And LMS you simpleton, the NRL grant covers the salary cap. So yes, we can buy players up to that cap
