Crap. Every year you see banks of empty seats , yet Ticketek says none available. Club saying they are held back for season seats. In the Burns stand they are held for sponsors. Yet you see huge blocks unoccupied. Assume no match day sponsors. Southern Stand is much the same and the premium concourse. Only ET Stand close to full. In all the years ,I have been to Shark Park I think there has only been one sell out. We average 16k we are going well. How many will turn up on Sunday? First round, I am guessing about 16k. But plenty will whinge it is a night match.
Gorman had a culture to draw on at Westwrn Sydney Wanderers to attract fans. I won't say what that culture is or post will be deleted. Cronulla locals don't have a culture of attending Sharks games. Pretty much like the rest of Sydney who don't back NRL games at the turnstyle.
If we were going to get great attendances , we wouldn't struggle for a sponsor. Bring back Fisherman's Friends.
