You obviously see rubber stamping as supporting otherwise you like many others would have something constructive to say about the fact that the team as picked isn't reflective of how many people in here think as to what the team, should be.

This season is going to be highly frustrating on this forum, I've already accepted it. If we are losing it will be full meltdown sack the coach, the board and all the players.
If we are winning it will still be a negative cesspool of winging and moaning because we always win the first half of the comp anyway.
Only way to get some positivity out of certain posters is to go through the season undefeated.
No actually that won't be enough. We will have to win the comp undefeated with a team full of young guns, no journeymen allowed.

Hahaha mate...I’ve been on this forum long enough to know that some people will always find something to complain about. A tackle hasn’t been made this season, and we’re already up to page 11 of complaints and disagreements.

OK I didn't realise they couldn't be picked until after June 30 as they are still in the development squad.
There was a section that I read said (extracted form 2015 I think) stated there was a loophole about players turning 18 before Dec 31 but obviously that may not be incorrect.
Under those circumstances your point about not selecting them is valid but we should take the bit between our teeth and upgrade 1 if not both them from the development squad so we can pick them.

Re the team I picked well might i be off my rocker but I can almost guarantee you there are plenty of others equally off their rocker and not willing to rubber stamp bad selection policy as is your position.

Ill only be truly dissapointed IF they sign Mcmediocre after seeing us on top halfway though the season and THEN flailing like always and were stuck with him for another 4 years

I hope they at least wait till seasons over to resign him if theyre going to, Ill be as happy as anyone if he can get us a GF but I highly doubt it, I hope Im dissapointed!

This is a place to talk footy and for that very reason there will be differences of opinion.
I don't agree with the way the club does many things and obviously have major disagreements with the coach.
Therefore I cannot simply participate on the basis that it will all turn out good and it is only the start of the season etc etc because the evidence at hand and very recent history shows that to be thwart with danger and disappointment.
I am not asking for anyone to agree with my posts but if they wish to challenge them then I reserve the right to defend them.
There are very few posts where I tell others what they should think or do and I don't accuse people of being non supporters or tell them to support other teams which has happened to me and other faithful supporters many times.
If I think Aitken is a dud and Dufty on the bench lunacy and Latimore a plodder and Graham almost if not past it as a starting front rower then that is what I think but it doesn't mean I don't cheer for and support the team which is what some people think happens because you disagree with them or the club.
If players do perform well and I have got it wrong then I am more than happy to be on record as to getting it wrong.
