This knucklehead has absolutely no idea. Latimore still there. What a joke. Kerr can cause destruction,latimore wouldn’t scare a mouse.
Another year of dealing with this idiots team selections. If I was a young player coming through the club I’d get out of there quick and smart. The only coach in the nrl who hasn’t got the balls to blood some youngsters. It’s going to cost us some of our best young players.

Mate honestly I have had enough of this guy , he really thinks he is a great coach and our management also do ... I will continue to support our Dragons , knowing there is no premiership under this bloke ....

Well, the team's on the board, nothing to do now but wish the boys all the best and hope we win a lot more than we lose starting Saturday night.
Won't be easy against a massive forward pack and a very experienced backline but I'm optimistic. I'm hoping we can come out guns blazing like last year. We have a different dynamic this year with all the positional changes but still a potentially lethal attack if the new spine clicks and our forwards can at least hold their own and give Wids, Hunt and Norman room to work some Dragon's magic.

The footy's baaaaack ! Woohoo !

You are suggesting that it "makes sense on paper" well in my world it makes no sense at all and it would be better flushed down the toilet and I suspect many others would agree withnthat thought but not necessarily agree with my thoughts on the team.
You are correct in that I believe he has selected a dud team as he is trying to fit too many (key players) into 1 team and is going to cost us by either unbalancing the spine due to Dufty being on the bench or fatiguing the forwards as per usual due to not having sufficient coverage if he decides to not use Dufty.
We have JDB out indefinitely and K Sims suspended for 2 games and coach goes with a FB on the bench which defies logic IMO.
If you can't pick Dufty at FB then make the brave decision and f**king drop him.
Re Aitken well there are several hundred posts in various threads that will answer that question.
Game 1 of the season and coach has already failed to make a tough but necessary call.

My team would be
Dufty,
Ravalawa
Masters or Saab either would be an upgrade on Pereira.
Lafai, Lomax
Widdop
Hunt
Vaughan, Mc Innes, Lawrie
Sims, Host
Frizz

I will cheer on this team nonetheless but Mary has not picked the strongest side and I just don't get it. I am pleased Host and Ravalawa get a look in but that's where my optimism ends.

Lomax > Aitken clear as day. Don't care if Euan has a blinder you should reward form and we've persisted long enough. Aitken did nothing in trials, nothing.
Kerr > Latimore right now
Robson should be picked with McInnes at lock when he comes on, and Lawrie or Leilua as reserve. Lawrie and Leilua are no slouches but Robson will add a dynamic we don't have yet.


Lomax, Kerr and Robson are all players on the rise. They'll be asking for releases before long.

What if the game is close, Mary injects Dufty into the game who carves up the Cowboys tired forwards and wins the game for them. Will you stop complaining? My guess is you won’t. A ball hasn’t been kicked yet and you’re already so angry. What are you like during the season? Relax mate. Stop being so negative.
