Would love to win every game, but it's round 1 and I am not worried. Parra showed up with more energy and with the ball they had, should have beaten us by 20+. Refs could have blown half a dozen penalties for Parra jumping the gun, holding us down in tackles or grappling, but kept whistle in pocket.

Hopefully this game helped us clear out some of the rust.

Would love for the team to make sure they get a hand on the ball to stop the offloads, but think our forwards did well overall. Backs need to hold the ball!

Different roster too.

Kikau saved us a bunch of times.
Peachey saved us vs Souths.
Mez was better than a bunch of our options.
CHN is better than them too.

We somehow expect better results with weaker rosters every season. Players developing offsets players lost a bit. But at thispoint of we have even one starting player injured i think our roster is pretty average.

Our hookers both are average. We only have 3x quality front rowers and a great starting second row/lock. Quality drops off a cliff after that.

Look at 17 we played.. No excuses. Time some leaders start stepping up. I agree we shouldn't of let them go early but we had 6 rep out there.. It is disgraceful

I hope none of you are listening to the media and have any hope. There's no hope, you shouldn't have any, it will only cause you hurt. I heard Yvonne or whoever the f**k say Penrith are in a premiership window. That's a lie, we are not. We were in a premiership window but then we sacked Ivan, got Griffin, and Griffin/Gus pissed Moylan off. And that was the shutting of the window.

I have never once said we were a top 4 team. Too young and too much turnover we are a bottom 8 team. Will do so for a while until some players play as well as they are paid
