We looked like a team that has spent the off season on the tackle bags and not touched a ball.Any win is a good win, but after seeing most of the games this weekend we seem to be behind a lot of teams in class.

Anyway very early days, next week will be harder and of course the Rabbits the following week will be a massive test.

I agree but i for one don't mind given we've had the limpest defence in the comp for a long time.

We have enough good attacking players to get us over the lines and as they get settled into the season, will form good combinations.

I'd love to see the boys tear saints a new one on Monday. Our defence was pretty good last week, lets hope we get a bit more fluidity in attack.
Try saying fluidity after a half a dozen !!

Attack will sort itself out the passes will stick eventually and combinations will form with time, the defence is the most important thing at this time.

Not worried with the attack at all. Tedesco and Brooks only played in one trial, and that's with the former having been out for many many months.
If we're still struggling with combinations and timing at mid-season then it's time to be concerned.

I like that the early focus is on defense and knowing how to grind out a win. By keeping defense solid we will give ourselves more opportunities to build combinations.

2010 and 2011 worked because our attack was just quite frankly unbelievable. We didn't need to be good defenders because we could outscore any team. This was largely due to Benji just being a complete freak at the time. Those days are long gone.

I have a good feeling this year.
