Was worried there.
When we controlled the ball we were good.
NZ errors we took advantage of them.
Hunt was quiet in attack.
Rava the beast.
My fav.
Shame about Woods he looked good on for us.
There first try was a silly error by us.
Then another was lazy by JG.
Before 3rd should have Been our pen as Zac was tackled off the ball, then they scored off a forward pass.
Anyway a win we'll take it.
On to Penrith. Not many will give us a hope but look at knights and Broncs.
Remember playing then at kog a few years ago lead by 8 with 10 to go and got bt.
Going into gane with a win much needed.

Plenty of room to improve and we'll get better as the year goes on...

One thing that stands out for me is the spirit amongst the boys. They seem happy and bonded and wanting to play for each other. That's half the battle. Celebrations at the end were great to see...

If we can keep that spirit high amongst the group, it will take us a long way...

Our play the balls were the biggest concern for mine. Sloth like. If that is to be a characteristic of this team then we will be up against it.

Two times Zac tried a quick play the ball he was halted and aside from that I saw one quick ptb from Kerr when he entered the game. McCulloch needs a spell. His service doesn't help the situation despite the fact he can tackle. Horrible miss on Curran.

The usual combos and individuals were the difference. Rava all on his own and with Zac, Sloan near the line has got an A-game and of course Ben scheming looks dangerous. Halves bit clunky but will get better. Thought the new recruits all did well. Someone needs to back up Su'a as he can produce an offload on the fringes.

I've lowered my expectations this year to just make the eight. Happy camper so far.

Terrible game of footy.
But strange things happen like loosing, which we didn't.

Lots of learning.
Lots of feedback.
Good acquisition though of important players have joined our squad.

They were laying all over the ruck, the ref let them get away with murder.. beyond frustrating. That contributed heavily to the slow play the balls.
