I thought the Titans may have been a decent test for us but alas it wasn’t to be.

I can’t help feeling these blowouts may not be a good thing and we need some close fought contests.

Obviously our draw in the second half of the season is far tougher and that should be a good thing.

Until teams improve there will continue to be blow outs and good. Time for clubs to manage their football departments better.

You would think Souths would give us a far better challenge this Sunday.

My favourite moment of the day was Moses Leota's try, as that run by him will forever be burned in my memory.

Whilst that was an awesome try, I can’t help but think how much he could’ve been a villain if he didn’t score as he had at least two other players on his right, with absolutely no Titans defenders in front of them, that he could’ve passed to.

Thankfully Leota “with the big motor” (as Warren Smith labeled him) got there in the end.

Just watched the jersey presentation for J’Maine, there always special and great viewing.

I really think he could have a really solid career in the NRL. Not the biggest in size but just seems to be in the mould of our own Isaiah Yeo, ideal 13, big motor, mobile, has an off load. When you look at 13’s such as Cameron Murray, Victor Ridley etc I see no reason why this kid can’t be as good as either he really does have the skill set.

I loved it when Anita describes the club as a family club. That gives great confidence for the parents of the out of town players. Liam Martin's mother said the similar thing.

He is the perfect size for the game now. I think he will kick on for sure.

By late next season we could really be running a bench that is all our juniors. May, Spence, Hopgood and a Lindsay Smith or Tago. Not knocking Huth or Sorensen they are great but it would be nice to see these depth/bench spots filled by our own guys..
