Yep pretty much. I think you keep Garner at centre one more week with Jenkins being the unlucky one to make way for To’o. Hopefully that left edge can get some confidence in these few games. Hopefully the side take this as a chance to really have a swing for the fences with basically a full strength side and get humming before a week off and the Origin series.

After the bye Jenkins will be straight back in for To’o and potentially you could try McLean at centre again for the Knights game given Garner will be needed to cover Martin on Origin duty.

Not sure where Sorenson fits into our full strength side now unless Garner stays at centre. With Origin and injuries I’m sure it’ll sort itself out though.

Re Casey, he started the year on the wing outside alamoti in the first roosters game, he had an absolute shocker catching the ball and had not been back on the wing since.

While im very tempted to leave Garner in the left centre spot for now but i also think the first plan was for Alamoti to be that centre, he only moved due to Biz injury and caseys poor catching in that game. I think we should go back to that once Bizza is back. Casey would be great for us this year on the wing outside Alamoti if he can catch. After Jenkins performance i think we stick Casey on the wing for at least another week in cup, personally i would tell him to earn the wing spot with his form in cup, it shouldnt take long, he is a good kick returner and makes metres there, he can finish tries, and he is faster then most of our backs. As soon as he can catch at a moderate level he is in. But for now Jenkins just had 180m(team higgh) for us to go a long with two very good finishes, i know he is just depth/back up player but he deserves another run after that.

I feel like our byes come at good times this year. Our regular season bye comes right before Origin 1, then we get two in the lead up to games 2/3. We also have some theoretically winnable Origin affected games, including Newcastle and Parra twice, although the Warriors in Auckland after game 2 stands out as a particularly difficult one. If we can carry some real momentum into Origin we might come out the other side in respectable shape.

If we are being realistic about turning the season around this is a must win in terms of our confidence and the table. Cows in 9th on 10, we need to beat teams 6-12 every chance we get. Plus 2 wins into the bye gives us some hope. Get through origin and go on a run should be the aim. All starts with another W this week though.

Is it after round 11 that you get your train and trial players?

If Patea keeps playing well one of the forwards has to miss out at full strength. Right now it would be sorro or maybe Henry. PAPALII and garner need to there, on form Patea also. Realistically at 32 sorro is tge guy you leave out.

Kenny back is the big in.

Question mark on the 14 again. It's not his spot but Toelau had a rough start at hooker yesterday. Shouldn't be required there with Kenny playing 80 minutes.

Last chance to impress before Origin. Expecting another big performance.

Our last month is bonkers. Melbourne, Canberra, Canterbury back to back. A tricky game against the Dragons at WIN to round things out.

Toleau and Sommerton both have the attacking skills to add somethign at hooker if they get a good run there off the bench but defenisively they are both a long way behind kenny. That first twenty minutes Toeleua didnt shirk anything defensively but he was still made to look like a speedbump a few times.

Some dodgy service as well. Over Tailagi's head for his error and then fumbled by Yeo. Later in the game not ready at dummy-half and passing to Leota on the last tackle. Lucky to get it to Cleary after that for a kick.

If it's halves cover then I am still picking Schneider before Toelau in the 14.

I reckon the Raiders will be flying fairly high at that stage. Unlikely to have much (any) Origin representation, so should be well in the Top 3.
Will be nice to give them a massive reality check before he finals.

Sommerton did force an error with a beautiful textbook tackle.

Reckon Hudson Young is an extremely likely pick. I'd take Fogarty for QLD 7 but I don't know if Slater will see it that way.
