Round 10 Vs Newcastle

Maybe Luai does come on with 15 to go in the 2nd half to closely mark Ponga when our forwards start to get a bit lax out wide. Would like to see him come on with 25 to go to give him a few opportunities to cut loose with the ball.
Ponga is going to target Jimmy and if he keeps on rushing out we are in trouble but surely he's smart enough to hold his spot in the line knowing Newcastle don't have much out wide

My preference would be To run out as named but with Lui-Toso in for Katoa.

Peach gives Wall a breather and Luai goes into the halves 10 mins into the second half. Then they can leave it or revert if we’re going down to the wire.

With Yeo named at centre, I think we can carry both Katoa & Luai on the bench.

Seems like Yeo will shift to back row, Peach centre & Luai to 6.

We all know I've been very hard on Peach as a 6 but he's 10x worse as a 9. The bloke isn't a passer. Yes he can get into dummy half and scoot well be thats not the same

When he plays like a 6 he is terrible. At a 9 so bad scoots and support is his strength

I think it depends on how Yeo and Maloney are defending. If they are going well then I'd move Peachey to the backrow. Yeo did put Phillips away last week so he isn't terrible if we keep him there.

Yeah that would mean less disruption to the defencive structures at least.

Injuries are too blame but we need to get combinations set to keep improving. Hopefully we are in a position tonight where we can build for next week.

It usually takes us 30mins or so to get our line set so any mins tonight will help that.

Peachey/Maloney defensively is a liability much better if Yeo works and he stays until Blake is back.

Yeo needs to stay in the centres until we get blake back, no point in chopping and changing all the time defeats the purpose of putting yeo there!!!!

If you're planning on comming up for the game tonight. It's cold and windy up here in the Hunter. So warm woolies a must.

Sadly I will be watching from my sofa as my health is not up the braving the elements tonight.

Good luck my Panthers, focus on the simple things like good defence, kick and pass pressure, ball security and let's get back into the winning circle again.
