This is such a big test though after such a high last week! It's a bigger test than what most realise!

I'm less worried about the Warriors game next week than this one.

This is the one that concerns me!
Agreed. I'm just waiting for the Cowboys to really turn it on too, they've just got way too much talent in their side to be sitting where they are.

This is a very weird year for RL!!
Who would have predicted the ladder at this point??
Even the Storm are inconsistent--add in the Roosters,Sharks,Cowboys, Broncos etc---Sths are shaping up as one of the most settled clubs!
A big year for us--barring injuries, we are,IMO,very serious contenders!!
Don't forget the eels doyen, they were tipped by some to be top four.

Need to get past the Cows first mate!

If we start thinking we are really good and the players think that well that's when it can downspiral!!!

The good old cliche that every game is tough in the NRL and you can't be slightly off.......

Like I've said earlier in the week, my biggest fear this week isn't NQ, it's Souths going in flat after last weeks win.

NQ went 1-5 in the last 6 rounds of 2017 before doing a Steven Bradbury to get to the GF rolling a tired Cronulla, a 'happy to be here' Parramatta and a so-so Easts. When they came up against a genuine premiership threat they got trounced. IMO it would've been all over had they come across Penrith.

That's not to say that they're a bad team but a lot of people (myself included) saw the finals run and thought they weren't far away from another go when in truth it was a masking agent and they're going backwards. Like we did in late 2015. The only difference is the timing.

They're old, they're stale and all four of their middle forwards average less than an hour on the park. The enforcement of the defence getting back 10 is really hurting them. Cook should have a field day against them in the second half.

Good to be here in Oz,the Cows are a tough nut.
This game I view with some trepidation but are we supporters filled with the memory of the last three seasons where Souths rarely turned up.Low expectations!
One thing that stood out last week was even though Souths weren't at the top of their game they handled the Saints with ease. This I put down to our smart coach and his tactics to nullify Saints.
IF we can beat the Cows by playing smart this will be a turning point in our season I believe. The quality of our bench has improved 100% imo.Last year we couldn't even cover a wing position let alone half/5/8.Perhaps four forwards on the bench for this one?
