Hook should've been sacked after the Brisbane game. I specifically remember a journo asking him if he had a good relationship with the team and if they want to play for him and he said "well we'll find out this weekend". Sharks put 40 on us.

That should've said it all.

Well who’s to blame for the indecision then? Hook set the bar himself, publicly, and fell well short. Weeks pass, more and more damage being done, not sure if it’s on purpose or he is just really a bad coach….or both. The board should have taken action a while back, they malingered, it is now too late to salvage things for this season.

I’m not going to judge some of these players on their efforts at the moment. The stench, around the team, has become so bad that it must be bringing the players down.

The last two and a half years have proven, without a shadow of a doubt, that this coach is NONE of the things we hoped he would be. We thought he would bring backbone in defence. We thought he would be great for our young juniors. We thought he would turn the ship around and get us headed in the right direction. Even the biggest Hook supporters couldn’t say he’s done ANY of those things. Tonight's performance proves that.

Hook has been in charge since November 2020. The utter dreck that we are producing on the field is, by any measurement, as bad as what it has been in a very long time.

Times up. My gut tells me he’ll be sacked this week and that is something he absolutely deserves. He’s a complete coaching failure and only the deluded would say otherwise.

We are in as bad a position, as a club and team, as what we have ever been in.

That will be Hook’s legacy…

Well, after watching this match, I believe our youngsters are not NjRL level and the players who want out should be let go. Give our new coach the chance to sign some first-grade players who want in for whatever reason.

Agree with most being let go
Feeling Lomax will improve out of sight with a new coach
he has been opposed to the Hook regime from the start
Sua was one of our better players tonite , he too mite stay once the coach has been punted

As I have been consistently saying that this team and club are divided. We have a milestone game for a player and put in a performance that was not 1st grade standard. Slow in attack, a slow backline, U12 missed tackles especially in our red zone. Defensively we were slow in attack a lot of 1 out runs easily targeted by the defence. Sullivan hooked for what reason? and then not allowed back on even though apparently he kissed and made up with the coach. If there was an example of how a team and club are divided then this was it.

Add to that Amone/Sloane/Feagai x 2.
Whoever says JDB is overpaid clearly has no idea on footy. Super effort whilst on.

Spot on with Suli and co, not fg standard, very limited. And Bird, what is he adding given his pay packet and experience? He’s a drag, an anchor. The juniors are really ordinary I’m afraid with perhaps only Couchman and Sullivan to salvage from the lot. I haven’t got a strong enough heart to have Sloane as the fullback of my team for much longer. Sua is disinterested and needs a new coach.
de Belin stands apart in the forwards, Blake is ok, the Molo brothers aren’t killing it, BMM is a non entity, wow maybe this roster is just ordinary.
