NO! We had a false alarm start thinking that we could be top 8 material after winning our first game of the comp against the Titans. We have then capitulated after the big win against the Dolphins to bring us back to the reality that is the Dragons footy and so far the year has been just a really unsettled, uncertain, and a seemingly uncaring club of footy players who I don't think know Arthur from Martha at this stage of all of the unrest going on at the club.

We are so disorganised that the Organisation needs a complete overhaul from Admin staff, coaches and players. Everyone's walking around wondering what the hell is happening. Who is going, who is coming, what position will I play in next weekend, will I be dropped??!!

So, yes - does it matter anymore?

In an 80 minute game I reckon we have 2 to 3 minutes of structured plays … and that’s being generous. Forwards who don’t do what they’re role is … to go forward preferably with a bit of speed and purpose and a five eight who obviously read too much of the The Daily Smellograph and thought he was the next Fitler or Munster. Amone needs to go but like Slowses Mbye he’ll be there next week.

In a real world there are reasons for and reasons against why players should / could be selected or moved on.

It would be nice to know how the coaching staff actually summarise those points in relation to each player so maybe it's a little like this.

Sloan - Literally no one else and its all Codey's fault.
Rava - Because he is quicker than the Feagai's
Lomax - Dropped for obvious but not stated reasons. Needs to improve on the things we don't tell him about.
Suli - For his decision making.
Max Feagai - Because we dropped Lomax
Matt Feagai - Neither good nor bad and no one pressing him so he's a lock and suits our cap position and absolutely no chance of him overrunning his inside player.
Amone - Benny loves him and tbh there is his father to consider.
Sullivan - Must be used in a ad -hoc in a way to not to upset Benny too much and in the meantime f**k Bud up so he will never replace Benny.
B Hunt - We will do whatever Ben tells us to because he is our go to clutch player. How do you tell the $M man what to do.
Lawrie - He will make 7m / run if he improves 15% on where his sits currently and that is a big tick for the coaching staff. Dominant player who owns the 6 meter space directly in front of him.
Mybe - A must pick because he brings out the best in Hunt.
M Molo - Keeping it in the family because his brother is unavailable.
Burns - Because we want to prove the fans wrong and we will tough it out until he has that 1 great game we think is in him.
Bird - Every team has to have a jack in the box clown that f**ks things up right at the moment you least need it.
Sua - We want to keep punishing him for thinking that he was going to join a club that cares about him and could get him back to SOO selection.
JDB - He is a lock because we stuck our neck out and got caught up in all his stupidity and to abandon him now would be to show we erred and we did give him a big upgrade despite not playing for 2 years so have to get our monies worth.
Liddle - Showed to much enterprise and set up too many positive plays and that doesn't go down well in a negative environment. Deservedly dropped
Kerr - Is getting near to his breakout game where he will dominate a team for more than a nano second and we owe it to Wayne to make sure he learns everything he can before he leaves.
Musgrove - Showed how it could be done so needs to pull his head in and make sure that he is a "team" player and needs to make less meters and fall of more tackles. When he is less agro / skilled we will pick him.
BMM - Exactly what we need to show fitness isn't everything and to validate that the previous losers we signed that all left were in fact not such big losers after all.
J Hunt - Needs to be picked now and then so as to show that the Kerr experiment of props playing edge actually will work but you have to persevere. If at 1st you don't succeed philosophy.
Couchman - Must follow in the footsteps of Sele, Host and others as that made them right for the picking of other clubs.
NLT - Needs to languish a little longer before being considered as we haven't finished all our other works in progress. At 26 he's got years ahead of him to learn his trade so maybe when his is 29 he will get his shot and of course can't make others look bad by a rooky showing them up.

That’s a good line up. They’ll come close to beating the cowboys
