Gave Ferguson a mouth full as well which was hilarious, I think getting dropped for a week has lit a fire under his ass, hope he keeps it up
The sauce has been flacid for a while, his first half runs, and all year, he would just drop on the 1st contact, zero fight. The 2nd half he started to show some effort which made him what he was, that fight which would get post contact metres and often a penalty.

Good to see Kenny take his chance with both hands, still early but looks like me may potentially be our best option at hooker.
RCG gave it his all. If he can maintain that effort and regain some form I will be happy to see him back.
Luai better in the second half but want to see him inject himself a bit more.
Cleary is a better player when Maloney isn't around.
Still a lot that needs to be fixed but probably the first real team effort we have seen all year. Luckily the Eels were very crap tonight but hopefully the win gives the boys some confidence.
Yes, I noticed that Luai didn't take the line on other than a few scoots from dummy half. In a day of instant messaging and emails, Katoa is still sending smoke signals. With a bit more practice he can improve to sending morse code.

Bro you gotta lay off the drugs. I thought our players could be braindead at times. But you're just on a whole new level.

Corey Harawira-Naera had 8 linebreaks and 6 tries last year.

Frank Winterstein has a whopping 4 CAREER tries. And 5 career linebreaks. Not season... CAREER totals.

How many line breaks he get in Rugby 7s but? Gun.

He will never be a creative player. For me it is the poor options letting him down. 10 to go 20 out. He was in front of the post. Spread it too Winterstein for handover. Every kick after that was a bomb where to touch is the better option

He loves the bombs, and whilst he can kick them high they basically never get a result.

DWZ will have to stay now with Waqa Blake likely to be out for an extended period.

Does he want to?

We speculated that it may be personal opposition to the culture of the team. It could also be a dummy spit on being dropped to reggies and being behind Aekins at FB.

Mansour and RCG showed how to cop being dropped to the reggies. Does DWZ have that kind of response in him even in a world where we need him?

Also thought Winterstein deserves a mention. Ran some really good lines, strong with the ball & defensively was terrific. Judge him on how he’s playing for us, not what he did or you perceived he did at another club.
He was defending every where.

Well said. I love Reg and Sauce's reaction to being dropped. Is DWZ capable of the same or is he just a sooky la la ?

Agreed, if we had Maloney he would have kicked it out every time in the last 10 minutes, if we’re going to lose him Cleary really has to add some more kicks to his Arsenal, he has a great bomb but I think every team practices catching them a little more before they play us these days.

Either that or hope Luai has a good kicking game.

Even after a pretty gutsy and courageous win 90% of the narrative on here is negative.

The Eels would be disappointed with there second half performance but I thought our defence frustrated them into errors.

You cannot unburn a bridge.

You can build a new one, but not when the engineers cannot agree on the design.

Wont play NRL again for you guys.

On the bright side young Kenny will make a good rotation with Egan when he is back.

And Cleary just kept his Origin jersey with a very mature game.
