A lot of people would say it was an ugly win. Yes it was ugly but gutsy as well. We were up against it. Salary cap dramas, players leaving, court cases coming up, injuries, poor refereeing. Yet they still hung on and got there in the end. Ok it was against Newcastle, but lets give the opposition credit, they played liked they had nothing to lose and as soon as the Knights scored the first try, you can tell Parramatta's confidence went down. Thankfully they improved in the second half, despite early in the second half when they had hardly any ball, they still hung in there.
The win tonight is good timing with the bye next week, and with injuries, we'd probably lose Foran and Taka for one match, maybe two with Foran but by then Mannah might be back.
Good to see French on debut, and that last minute try saving effort, well done Bevan. We'll definitely see more of him this year.
Manu was awesome, Taka played well even injured. And Beau Scott, thanks fk he wasn't selected for NSW. Really led by example with Foran off.
