We are a chance.

Jake Trbojevic is everything to Manly defensively. He leads their line speed and the rest follow. He would most likely be the most vocal too.

He is a huge out for them.

Manly have overachieved massively with all their injuries, they are due to come back down to earth, it looked like it started on the weekend.

We are a chance the next 2 weeks. We are no worse off with Maloney/Luai as we would be some other years. We don't use our centres for attack so as long as Naden/Fuimaono hold up in defence. No reason we can't the wins if we do what we did well last week.

Short turnaround was partly to explain that loss. The next month or so will show where they really stand

we are a chance for sure - Maloney having a week off will have him fresh and as others have said, both halves play better when its just them controlling the team.

that win on Thursday will be such a mood lifter and pressure release, I expect a good performance this week

Again I'm not confident for this game. This is the type of game we as Penrith tend to drop. Manly decimated by injury will be working for the jersey on pride.

I wouldn't dare say we are going to win by + amount. At the moment we are doing well to scratch around like old chooks and drag out a messy win (like last week)

I'll be in my Panther cave (if asked) attempting not to fear a loss.

PS Heaven help us if we come in as favourites too. I mean seriously.
Manly $1.80 Pen $2.05. Who in all honesty sets these markets?

Even accounting for injuries, the win V Parra is to be the turning point for our season.

Fox Sports' predicted line up has Martin and Ellis in the centres.

Is that legit or taking the piss?

Taking the piss for sure id say naden and fuimaono in the centres for sure.Segeyaro caught drink driving he might be a decent footballer but he has his fair share of off field dramas we didn't need him.

Foxsports prediction doesnt look so bad compared to what we will get.

foxsports had Whare making a remarkable recovery and DWZ having a change of heart and playing this week against Manly before they updated it to Elllis and Martin!!

Are we absolutely sure DWZ won't be given a shot? It's pretty desperate times and a good performance while in the shop window would be good for both him and the club.

Depends how much of what you hear is true. Would any coach play someone that demanded to play in a position?

How do you know what you're going to get once he's out there? Sounds like he'd be playing for himself rather than the team.

After watching what he did to Edwards in the last game he played I'm not so sure. As a member I was fairly horrifed at his work ethic (lack of) and the poor decisions he made during the game. I could say the same about many of his efforts this year.

The cause of this efforts (or lack of) I have no idea. But I found it fascinating that Girdler (who has obvious connections) came out and gave him both barrels in recent times.

I wonder does DWZ know himself ?

Has anyone heard if DWZ is reluctant to play in the centres? This is from an SMH artcicle:

Watene-Zelezniak hasn't hidden his desire to play fullback and is known to be reluctant to play in the centres but Cleary may have no other choice than to recall the 23-year-old this week.

I have heard that too. How much of it is true but he is limiting his options of finding a new club this way.

I know I'm playing amateur counsellor here, but is DWZ having a very early mid life crisis ? (I know, I know)

Goes away with kiwi team away from wife, family influences is able to behaviour like a young man in their 20's, You know the rest beer.........

Comes back home into a young marriage, 2 very young children, restrictive church & family expectations.

He is rebelling against it all perhaps

Just a thought.
