Im ok with everyone having an opinion (I have not choice) but anyone who thinks Lawrie is anywhere near first grade material you have no idea

Interesting Moe, for me Alvaro is a Hugh unit but hits like a cream cake , Blocker is not so hugh and fails to make PCM;s. We are rebuilding for sure. Again all good footballers but without outstanding players & proven systems in & outside of them they struggle. The era of the 5 ft 10 loose head prop has passed the game

Yes, I am writing off Hook as a coach for the modern game. The team lines up flat in attack giving the opposition no trouble to stop them. The team has players who rush in in defence, allowing the opposition to exploit the gaps around them. He has implemented stupid tactics like short drop-outs despite not having the players who can make it work. These are things he should have control over.

Yes losing sucks. I could handle that if the team was showing signs of improvement. But they aren't. They are going backwards, and based on tonights performance has no plan to correct the deficiencies.

So your solution is to get rid of our 3rd coach in 12 months and that will solve everything?

A bad night for the Dragons all around.
Ramsey will need to improve a lot to win that 1 jumper
Pereira, Williame, Jayden Hunt, Beele and Norman not first grade material.
All the forwards performed poorly.

Right now I would let a large number of players go; at least all off contract.

Sign another top grade prop
Sign B Smith as our run on 9
Sign Hyne as our fullback for 2022
Armone to 6 now and Norman to reserve grade or out the door
Bird to left edge and Sims to right edge
De Belin to lock
Love to see another club take Hunt

For Next Week
1. Sloan
2. Ramsey
3. Bird
4. Schiller
5. Ravalawa
6. Armone
7. Hunt
8. Lawrie
9. McCullough
10. Vaughan
11. Kerr, Burns
12. Sims
13. De Belin

Wow, I am surprised with the full scale meltdown in here over this game. I mean I was hopeful of a 13+ victory but I’m not at all surprised that we got pumped.
Our season was over a couple of weeks ago when we lost Dufty, Rava, Fui, etc.
Not much point getting upset at the reserve grade team for leaking 34 points.
I thought Tigers played well, one of their best games of the season.
Dragons got owned across the park, out-enthused and beat up.
Luciano was excellent, shame we let him go.
Not sure what people expected, our first grade team couldn’t beat Tigers at home, what did you think a team with Gerard Beale in it was going to achieve?

But we didn't field a reserve grade side. This was mostly our first grade side. We have backs, forwards and halves who have played origin. Tigers have one old origin forward (Tamou), one origin back (Roberts), and a bunch of unknowns or ordinary players. And yet we were never in it.

Vaughan was a gun a few seasons ago. Now he couldn’t punch a hole in a wet paper bag
He has just lost purpose for playing hard to win nowadays. He has tried over the painstaking dreadful years under Mary and gave his all but he has reached a time of his football career to only do as much as he is needed to do so that he gets paid like many of our other players.

I saw this loss coming but it still hurt. That patch after half time reminded me of how many poor teams are in this comp and how even our patchwork team could have jostled for a victory if they really wanted it.

My frustration comes with recruitment and the lack thereof. The trades and buys are being done NOW and our fossilised coaches are still umming and ahhing over Snorey Borman. That's the reality.

Granted Rava is a loss as one of the more improved players we have but I hate to say it ...Lomax wasn't killing it before he got injured, Dufty is not even in our future plans, McGuire is a liability now moreso than ever and Fui is just like most of our players that come and go in form.

Ain't nothing but some good old fashion purchase power going to help this lot. Our junior backs are going to take some time and some won't end up making the cut...and look the state of our front row. Shambolic.

I'm bagging him now. No way is he showing me that he beats Dufty at fullback. Jigging and Jagging don't get you tries. His hair makes him look bedraggled and to me is affecting his vision. Lots have said that Dufty cannot take the high ball - which is wrong, none of us can. We let them score 3 converted tries from our players not being able to diffuse the bombs. No wonder Dufty had a good laugh in the stands.

The other young kids have not tasted first grade and we don't know how they can handle the rise, so who will be our fullback in place of Dufty from now to the next few years? I hope it is not Ramsey.

The other thing that gets me is that we complained about Aitken not passing the ball - I was furious to see Beale doing the same. Get him OOOOFFFFF.

I know we had basically a fill in team tonight and we will be getting some of the better troops back slowly and they might help to get us playing decently but still I think we will struggle to win games.

Hook, Elliott and Gentle are not the answer for a team of underwhelming, mistake ridden players. They are not the answer now. I'm only saying this because our season has been derailed seriously with injuries and suspensions and things look dire. Our coaches can only do the best they can with the cattle we have got. It still pisses me off though.
We lost to the Warriors and the tigers with all the team
And got smashed by the chooks.
So I think our season hit the shit before the inj and suspensions.

Wow-tonight-just shattered again to watch the drivel we dish up. To lose to the Tigers twice and the Scum twice-both bottom dwellers and yet ran all over us.We seemed to have no desire to get up in a hurry or do anything at pace. I do have to query the Ref letting them slow our play the ball down all night yet rarely get a 6 again, yet they were constantly getting them. However once again were the NRLs slowest learners. We just kept giving 6 again at vital times.
Somehow I dont see Ramsey as any better than Dufty and definately not as good an attacker.Good winger at best
Periera isnt a winger-too any errors in his game and leaving his position
Norman-i say it every week but how the hell does he get picked. Its beyond belief that he gets selected .
Our forwards-very little passing this week and once again dropped ball killed us. God im sick of watching us implode every week. Vaughan just cant pass and really has to be considered to be dropped.Sims very little impact the last few weeks. Alvaro-pedestrian at best.
I think last few weeks Hunt definately our best player and saved so many tires with great tackles.
Why oh why do they let Norman kick-Grrrr
I turned it off before full time tonight-i just cant keep doing this to myself. I never used to but the lack of effort makes me wonder why i bother.I'll wait to hear how things will be better once we get the full team back-if we stop tackling peoples heads that is

My observations on this game, they may be controversial for a few.

1. Our forwards are weak physically, consistantly dominated. No doubt they try their best but not physical enough.

2. The dad's army approach is starting to bite. There were other options than a few of those who played tonight.

3. Sorry to say, but young Cody is no fullback. Wing is his spot.

4. Did Faama play?

5. Norman, I just don't see his value to the team. Young Amone looked sharper at centre when he came on, than Norman for the entire game.

6. BHunt trying too hard to create the SAME play every set.

7. Bird was missing tonight and his error rate is becoming an issue for the team.

8. Ford is not a first grader. Don't know what happened to him but he's nowhere near what he promised to be.

I understand 100% we are down on troops, but it's the troops who should be leading the way simply just aren't.

Next week we have a lonely Thursday night game, there needs to be changes. Yes, Rava and Kerr are back, possibly a few others bavk from injury.

I'm finding tomorrows KOE Cup game as the big focus this weekend.

The ref can find a penalty and 6 6 agains against us in the first 25 minutes while he deemed the Tiges to be faultless - just long enough to see the opposition lay on 3 tries. I can't blame the boys when the game is taken out of their hands like that.
I'm getting sick of seeing our 5/8 get the ball and run straight into the defence and submit in an easy tackle - no footwork or attempts to pass just wasted runs, meanwhile Douhei carves us up.
I've mentioned a few times our lack of depth / playing too flat and even Gus and Co were pointing it out tonight, why persist with it, it's not working !

Anyway, another horrible game. Thanks NRL.
