I'm fully expecting to see Bird or Mbye in the halves. I dont think Carr will have 2 rookies there, lesson learnt from last year maybe. i would like to see NLT take Lawries place and at least Sullivan at 7. I'm happy to see Musgrove in there as well.

Really hope we can win this especially with the Tigers having the bye and Dogs potentially beating the Titans tomorrow we will be in dead last position it's a must, must, must win game for us.

I celebrated as hard as anyone last night but the Tigers winning big today sobered me up. It’s unfortunate for Carr that the club waited 3 or 4 weeks to long to punt Hook, it was obvious to everyone that Hook had to go. Oh well better late than never.

Realistically we’re in such a hole every game is must win for the rest of the season. I think Carr’s one day, one game at a time approach is correct otherwise the task ahead would be overwhelming.

How good must the fans of the Tigers be feeling tonight after walloping the Cowboys 66-18. I think they scored 5 converted tries in 14 minutes. On the flip side, how bad must the fans of the Cowboys be feeling tonight. Their worst defeat I'd say without looking up the history books.

They look like they have a better draw than us, so we definitely need to win some of the "harder" games as well as the "easier" ones convincingly starting next week against the Dolphins.

I definitely agree what's really sad is I'll consider this season a "success" if we avoid the wooden spoon even though I think it's inevitable at this point.

We aren’t even half way through the season yet. There aren’t any “must win” games at the moment. Those will come in about 6-10 weeks.
I think all games for us are must wins ones Crush. The next 4 games against the Dolphins, Panthers, Bunnies and then the Warriors are all tough and to enable us to get away from the bottom we must win these games. I think we still have a couple of byes, but after the Warriors we play the Sharks, Raiders and then we hit the period you say of 6-10 weeks time we play the Tigers, Sea Eagles, Eels, Bunnies and Storm. The last 2 games against the Warriors and the Knights. Our draw is tougher than the Tigers in my opinion.

We have got to keep winning but it will be very hard. Have to take a week at a time and field the best team each week. Most would not have expected us to win against the Roosters so anything can happen.

There are 27 rounds, still 15 rounds left, they can’t all be “must win” games, unless you want us to win the minor premiership perhaps.
What’s the goal here? To finish outside the bottom 4? If that’s the case, we need to win another 6 games I reckon, so a little under half of our remaining games.

Now the conundrum of where does everyone play with SOO on the horizon.

Sullivan 7 who plays 6 for mine let it be Amone and hope like hell it's not Bird
Liddle 9 who plays 14 for mine let it be CM (we have to cut the umbilical chord to Mybe)
Pudding out so Musgrove in and Kerr stays on the bench.

We have to find out sooner or later so why not do it right now.

I think the goal is to build some momentum to take into 2024. A second half of the season rally & a mid table finish would to a good result all things considered.

Ryles is in charge next year & some roster tweaks we’ll be a reasonable chance of a top 8 finish.

We have 13 more games I’d like to win 8 of them. A team with nothing to lose can be dangerous, no team is unbeatable, I think we can spring some upsets, I’d like other teams to fear us, change the narrative.

8 wins from 13 would be huge, from where we are I mean. That would make for a really interesting season, especially if Tigers and dogs can come good which you’d expect they will when they click given their rosters.
Imagine Cowboys or Knights getting the spoon, priceless.

Saints play Panthers at a good time after Origin where Ivan Cleary usually rests the stars and plays mostly juniors. Saints can possible win the next 2.

Carr's first 3 games against Robbo, Bennett and Cleary. If he wins 3 what a great resume he will have with those 3 scalps.

Like this a lot.
Beat the phins minus Kafusi then ambush the baby panthers.
Is it a baby panther? Or should I say panther cubs perhaps?
