This is what will piss me off blacksafake. This is the last game of the round. The ref should keep the trend of the game as with the other games already played and not basing the refereeing on the adverse inconsistency commentary.

As Crush said but not in these words, if we cannot beat the dogs we might as well say sayonara to the season.

I can't remember off the top of my head when we played the Bulldogs and I think Benji played for us that year. It was a game that if we beat the Bulldogs we make the 8 or something like that and the Bulldogs were the underdogs. We lost that game which was so disappointing.

I know the Bulldogs lift against us no matter what the situation - even if we were leading the comp by miles, they will always try their hardest to bring us down.
They will definitely lift, we are basically one of very few winnable games for them. Plus they have a few players back I believe in the 9 position especially.

I guess we have part of an answer. Both Poasa and Ellis named in reserve grade today with the game starting in about 50 mins.

So Tariq comes in. Maybe on the edge with Kerr dropping back to the bench.

18th man?

I've always wanted Bird to play closer in, on an edge, and i thought he was terrific there last week...I personally would like to see him stay in the backrow and Sims to return on an edge as well...I think they both could play in that position on either side of the field effectively and this would push Kerr back into the prop rotation...

I wouldn't be moving Bird back into the centres because i believe his ball playing and hole running is an advantage on an edge as seen by his performance last week. And i also think the two centres were very good last week especially defensively. They both ran for over 100m and defended very well. Centre can be a specialist defensive position and as much of a fan of Bird as i am, he has missed a few tackles playing in that position this year. Bird's a better option for the team playing tighter in and the more he gets his hands on the ball the better anyway...

Looking forward to Jack getting a little more game time today. I thought for the 26 minutes he was on the field last week he looked very good. I have a feeling it won't take long for us fans to remember the ability that Jack brings to the table and the quality of player we've had sitting on the sidelines for the last two years.

Like what i saw at times last week, just have to tighten up defensively and i think we can do a number on the dogs. Looking for big games from Vaughan, Hunt and Bird and for Tariq to pick up where he left off on Wednesday night.

I think we can win and win well today...will be disappointed if we don't
