Wes....may be a strong runner of the ball, but doesn't support the ball runners and makes bad defensive decisions.

Mansour in centres? Geez.....bit of a gamble. He likes to rush up out of the line which sees him caught out more times than not - reminds me of a young jennings before he worked on his defense.

Newton (while I'm not a fan) I can kind of understand due to injuries....but Ciraldo? You have to be kidding me.

If Walsh believes his kicking game alone will win us this game, he's mistaken. He MUST take on the line.
But I'm predicting 5th, BOMB, 5th BOMB.


Based on injuries/the Moylan BS, I would of much preferred;

IMO however we can make a case for him to be promoted as we have no other specialist prop.

With Cherrington but, don't hold your hopes out while we have Newton & Ciraldo fit.

I don't want Daniela near first grade. I'd rather than Brown stay in the centres.

Just a shame James Roberts got injured again.

Unfortunately it is the best we can do right now without breaking salary cap rules.

Matt Moylan has offered to play for free according to NRL Gossip so he can play with his team mates in 1st grade. I'm going to say it now, he is a future Panthers captain!

Great PR move but unfortunately cannot happen.

According to the CBA all players outside the top 25 generate mandatory match payments, hence the 2nd tier cap.

So while it is fantastic the kid made the offer and is a credit to him, I doubt the NRL would let it fly nor would the RLPA as it is against the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

And since the NRL would see this as a means to increase future income (hit his clauses in contract just signed) then I doubt they would allow it.

However, it is great he offered & hopefully NRL do it.

Yep. 2nd tier. If Naiqama is infact injuried like the Australian said Moylan in. Grant was going to play this week he said in the telegraph.

Without those 2 the backs stay the same.

We were found out when we had Docker, Plum, Masoe and Manu off. This way we don't have those problems.

It's only for 1 game. Next week Anderson, Latimore are back. After the bye Roberts and Grant's back

If we get Moylan back with a proper prop rotation we can make a late run for the finals. If no Moylan Roberts needs to be fullback but I have been told within a month it should be sorted. So I hope for the Dragons game it's fixed

Kingston and the Eels players tried the same thing to keep him there. Didn't get allowed this wont sadly

Agree 100% Please No Daniella ever - has had more goes [ lives ] than a cat - Should be back up for the back up for the back up for the backup and thats all.
Brown in centers offers a bit of defensive grunt IMO -
am worried abt Mansour think they may target that side - given his IMO poor defensive reads
Hope we win but cant see anything but a Raiders thrashing coming .

The issue is, if you have a bad defensive centre it screws up the entire backline.

Mansour will still get his hitups and offloads on the wing (as he's done the last year for us.)
Can't put him at fullback as he struggles with the high ball and has no passing/kicking game what so ever (which I think good fullbacks have - i.e. Moylan)

Best bet is;

I think Brown can help keep Mansour in position, so shouldn't leak many points on our edges.
