Agree with Blacksafake, Ravs is our best from 1 to 5....go figure.
Jonus is doiing OK and could turn out a good un.
Frizell is the only one trying to keep the ball alive with off-loads.

Lucky we have Korbin, his energy and agression might be behind the 2nd half improvement.
Disappointed with Luciano, given up on him as he is not tough enough for a prop and too lazy for the 2nd row.
Too easy for the team too revert back to lazy defence where they take 2 steps forward and wait.
When the defensive line is aggressive, they can beat anyone.

Our halves did well tonight, in particular with their kicking and repeat sets.
Hope the referees boss issues an apology to us for the missed knockon by NQ and a minute later the imagined knock on by McInness (off his knees!)

Fox commentators saying Tariq tackle was high and a little late and should be cited. So much NQ sympathy!! Morgan shouldn't run to the line if he doesn't want to be tackled.
Where was this talk when Norman had his cheek smashed against Parra.

I found this interesting:
Runs, running metres and PCM of our back 5 tonight:

1. Dufty - 18 runs 157m 37pcm
2. Pearson - 16 runs 118m 37pcm
20. Maranta - 7 runs 47m 14pcm
4. Aitken - 17 runs 155m 49pcm
5. Ravalawa - 17 runs 169m 55pcm

Such a highlight that Maranta chap. Imagine if we actually played someone who could have made us some more effective running metres, some harder pcm and wasn't out of position in 2 of the opposition trys. I wonder who could that have been?

I would love to get excited about the win tonight but it was once again a few lucky kicks rather than constructive play. There is just very little in the way of formation or imagination in attack. Typical McIdiot flair.

The back five, 1 through 5 let us down week after week. Lafai’s return does not fill me with any hope as he is just as bad. Maybe it’s a sign of how bad McIdiot is but these back five could not read a Dr Sues book let alone a defensive play. They are like revolving turnstiles. Ravolowa is strong, runs well, and can defend, but just cannot position himself. He pulled off a couple of good saves tonight which got us across the line but I have no confidence in him. Not under this coach.

The forwards are pulling there weight. Fritz, Vaughn, and the Sims boys. Hunt an Norman both are directing well. But this backline is atrocious.

On tonight’s performance, Melbourne will put 50 on us. They will run rings around that back five. This season is already gone. The board should be considering a real coach for next year. And that is not one of the stooges in the background or Barrett. But alas, we know that won’t happen. Bottom 4 for the next two years.

I understand the negativity, but I think Lafai returning will be a bigger boost than you say. He holds together the left edge in a very interested fashion, his work in defence being a particular difference. He will be 10 steps up from Maranta

Hoping Lomax returns as soon as possible too. Wonder if he will go back to fullback. The only reason Dufty went back there was Lafai getting injured and Lomax had to cover.

I agree storm will put a score on us but disagree we will land in the bottom 4.
I think we lose to Storm badly but bounce back following weeks to beat Raiders and potentially Panthers.

I cant remember one instant tonight when a player backed up the ball carrier....if they did then it wasnt very bloody often......unbelievable poor coaching. .and I can blame the coach because a good coach wouldnt allow it to happen week in week out
Spot on - poor coaching not addressing that. Surely the players don’t need to be told to follow the ball in attack. Should be second nature as a footballer.

The coach won't allow enough ball playing even though he has Ben and Normy.
Crazy.

Agree, especially Dufty.
Quite often Friz, Vaughan, Graham & Luc poke their noses through & look but no one is there.
I’ve also been saying for ages that I’d like to see Dufty get into dummy half & run, Like Tedesco, Turbo, Gutherson etc do.

Best result is. Cowdung by 50 and half Prices’ successor uses the presser to resign effective immediately.
Mary will never resign, he will have to be sacked because it is all about the money. As a painter, even if he worked 12 hrs days every day of the week he could never hope to earn the dollars he is on now.

Why do we play Robson as a back rower in preference to a running front rower ( Timm ), it hasn't worked it puts more work load on Frizz & Vaughn to work it up the guts.
Timm & Kerr for Lats & Robson NOW PLEASE.
Surely they will get a start with the SOO players unavailable, won't they ???????????????

And a lot on here have been putting crap on Rav....well done son playing for some pride in your jersey
And for good reason however, today he is playing well. If he plays this well for the remainder of the season he and Pearson should be our wingers for 2020. So all we need to find is a first grade centre and fullback within our back five.

Yes I have to agree. I've always been a great fan of Robson however, now that it is reported on Fox tonight that he is in fact joining NQ for next season and beyond, I'd rather be testing the players we are holding on to.
