These type of games come down to desire. Both teams obviously physically spent going head to head and it just comes down to the big moments, in the end, Brisbane came up with more of them.

3. Jack Reed - A handful all night
2. Darren Lockyer - Came up with the bulk of the big plays tonight.
1. Ben Hannant - Immense through the middle.

I expect Gagay and Parker to get points from a certain someone..

Agreed. Honorable mentions to Macca and Glenn too.

Reed was absolutely sensational. His impact in attack was Hodges like. I'm starting to think his attack is better than his defence.

Does anyone know how many minutes Hannant played? He made 135m and 45 tackles and looked like he played 80?

Not sure but he definately had a good run out there. Amazing 2nd half from Glenn. Bit quiet in the first. Reed was fantastic all night. Cemented in my mind that his best spot is center without doubt. Locky was great. Yow Yeh was obviously about 70% or less and still had one of his better games all season. Starting to see Hala as a great impact prop. McCullough had a great game also. He is definately improving and I really hope he continues...

3. Jack Reed
1. Darren Lockyer
1. Alex Glenn
1. Ben Hannant

I don't like this playing Norman/Hunt as the utility. They're not hookers. I know they need game time for next year but really...

Final point - there were definate issues tonight but it was a great performance and our team is still short Hodges, Parker, Gillett and T'eo... That will be fun when they're all back at the business end of the season.

Had to rely on the wireless for first half but the commentators were saying Thaiday and Reed were being exposed in defence? From what I saw:

3. Glenn
2. Lockyer
1. Hoffman
