People say don't blame the refs. At 2:30 we have kick chasers tackle Coote on his goal line, they hold him up and attempt to drag him back. Held is called before they get to the goal line. Later in the match the same thing gets a drop out from us and also in the Broncos game a Broncos player got driven back in an identical fashion to end with a drop out. The block penalty which hasn't been called all week yet gets called when our game is being decided. I'm not saying it's deliberate but inconsistent calls got us a bit in this game.

Referees out here sending every try for review because their scared shitless of the backlash a club will have if its wrong and Gus literally says we will never complain about officiating.

Pretty obvious why what OldPanther is saying is happening.Referees are scared shitless of making 'tough' calls against all clubs except us, because they know we won't say anything unlike the other clubs.

Another example is the whole contesting debacle from our game against Souths.Referees don't mind setting a precedent against us, even if their previous decisions that match conflict with it.

I wish Gus would get off his moral high horse and stop having this club aim for winning with 'class' instead of just winning.

About the referees, why wouldn't you want to secure your spot in first grade for at least another week? The only way you could get dropped for a a call against us is if it's as bad as that catastrophe of a forward pass Younis missed against the Roosters and he wasn't even in reserve grade for that long.

Mansour got exposed for what he is, he's a big frame on the wing who makes big metres coming out of trouble, any team with a decent kicker and leaper would target that edge all day long, especially now after seeing that effort.. he didn't even compete.

"Exposed" lol you mean everyone finally worked out he is short?! haha get your hand of it you clown. He has been targeted plenty of times this way, short wingers always get targeted its nothing new. When he debuted he had all kinds of trouble with his hands and catching kicks so teams were going at him all the time, he usually does much better.

Honestly that was a perfect kick and amazing take. It looked for all money like it was going out on the full. Mansour had the winger covered if they passed it, he certainly in hindsight could have done better but it's a bit harsh to have a go at him for that one.

Here's hoping teams try it more often. Will get alot of 7 tackle sets for kicks that aren't pinpoint perfect or knocked on by the attacking player.

It has always been an issue for Mansour. But its a hard one to exploit. Teams prefer he doesnt get the ball because when he does he carries multiple players on his back 10+ metres and gets a fast play the ball.

You only need a pinpoint kick and a winger with 10cm on him and good hands. Easy done.

He really should of just hammered the bloke as soon as his hands touched it but he got himself lost and ended up looking silly. I honestly think if he had of tried to tackle him or hold him up we could've stopped that try.

Well he'd be one of the strongest outside backs in the game.

I'm even angrier about this now because I'm watching Monday Matty Johns and they said DWZ getting pushed back in goal at the end of the game was a great play.
