Issue is he is on over 500k and on our books for another 12mths. This has to be seen as an epic cockup. We could of kept Papali for that.

Either would of I. But I wouldn't of signed Gutherson either. With N.Brown it's only 2yr deal so not long. I'd say he moves on and we most likely chip in about 100k for him to play elsewhere. He will still demand 300k and maybe a 3yr deal from Dolphins. His manager would be telling him the longer he is in NSW cup the less he will demand.

If you paid attention, you’d know that our best games are on the back of Matto coming on after 15 or 20 and playing 60 mins at lock. Matto has had his best year under this structure.

So our “starting” lock is not our best player and you should not view Makas selection as the coach awarding him that way.
