You explained it perfectly, Cook didn’t cover his man, forced Cordner to take DCE leaving Paps open.

Some how, that’s not a bad read by Cook it’s a bad read by Jimmy, who was already faced with Munster sweeping and creating an over lap.

DCE has the ball. He is on Cooks outside shoulder - he is Cooks responsibility.

Cordner Has Paps on his outside shoulder, he is Cordners.

Maloney has Munster.
Well that's pretty clear to be fair. Cordner didn't slide, probably gassed which is fair enough. He did plenty of tough carries.

EDIT. And Cook didn't slide either. He's plenty quick enough to catch DCE.

Why can't it be ordinary from both players? Cordner made a shit read jamming in on DCE. Jimmy should have read the play better but isn't a great defender and probably isn't going to stop Papalii from there anyway.

Honestly I think it's on Cook. A fee times he let his outside defenders down.
