Hoping to see O'Donnell get a shot.

I've often stuck my neck out and said he has always been a guy who'll shine if given a first grade shot no matter how much, or little, he has 'earnt' it. The entire O'Donnell family are very competitive people and i think Kyle, like Luke, will rip in against the big boys.

Zeb has played Prop for the last 2 weeks off the bench, which have been his 2 best games this season. A good choice IMO.

I'm not sold on Zeb at starting prop. Also it's essential that O'Donnell be included on that bench, without him we're far too small to contend with the Rabbletohs pack. Unless Wayne's gameplan is to run around them, instead of through them we definitely need some size.

If anyone told me that Zeb would the starting prop for the Knights I'd have punched them in the face. I think Zeb has been playing really well the last two weeks and I hope he can keep it up.

Yeah Bedsy to play 80 again - Adams to drop OFF the bench and LOD in would be ideal - given what we are faced with - Sure seems Tui is finished !

I expect he will immediately look good carting the ball up hard, straight and with footwork and with his first few touches appear every bit a first-grader.

The question is whether he can hold his own in defence, which even in NSW Cups looks extremely suspect. He just seems to have horrible lateral movement and reading of the play.

The biggest thing i noticed about KOD when he first got here in our trials was that he was immensely powerful with the ball, but turns like an ocean liner. just atrocious lateral movement as K-Man said. unless that has changed, or can be very well hidden, then he won't last long in 1st grade. not in a Wayne Bennett team, anyway.

still, i think we could probably get away with it for a 10-15 minute burst off the bench, and i think he would cart the ball up very strongly. will get found out eventually and targeted with numbers running at him for sure, though.

Kyle getting a potential start is encouraging. We have been waiting long enough. Has been frustrating with he and Liki being thereabouts and that is all.

KOD cannot be any worse than Snowden who is quite literally the slowest lateral defender in the NRL. Snowdens idea of tackling an inside runner is leaning over like the tower of pisa and throwing out a loose arm.

McKinnon, Costigan and Mason will have to play a lot more minutes if we have both Tets and O'Donnell on the bench.

Can't argue with that.

If he would run harder at the line when carting the ball he may not have been buckled backwards and injured last week as well.

to be honest i would say that he was even worse than Snowden in this department, but it was well over 12 months ago that i saw him. one thign that is certain is that he is an absolute beast. i was really excited when he got here, I hope he has an impact if he gets a run this w/e.

Its all gonna hinge on how KOD goes tomorrow night off the bench for the NSWCup rep team. He must have shown some good form to be selected in that side

Is it fair to say that Wayne has probably given Kyle goals and he has met them? If the kid takes his chance with both hands he could be the impact forward that we hoped Richie could be.

Buderus 2 weeks in a row 80 mins last time he squeezed out big minutes without a breather he was busted for 2-3 weeks..... Lets not forget his not a spring chicken anymore, any chance of McKinnon squeezing out 10 either side of half time at hooker or even Costigan?
