Plenty of players have been bumped off before. Get up on Inglis and give it to him. People were worried about Barba tearing us apart when we played the Dogs. We had a plan for him and he did nothing and we won convincingly. This is a must win for us. We are expected to lose. Perfect game for an upset.

That's one of the main reasons why we won the second SoO. Early in the match NSW constantly kicked early before the wingers had dropped back and isolated Slater. He was getting smashed in 3-4 men tackles every time. I'm not sure we have the personnel to pull it off for 80 minutes against Souths, but if it gets their wingers dropping back earlier in the tackle count to help Inglis, guys like Boyd, Tahu and Gagai could really take advantage of the situation and run the ball on the 4th/5th tackles a bit more.

The more I think about this match, the more I convince myself that a win here could be pivotal to the rest of our season. The past 2 have been nice, but it will be business as usual in the minds of most if we can't get up here. Souths are unbackable favourites. It'll send a warning signal out that we're fair dinkum if we can win here, and probably boost our confidence more than the previous 2 matches combined.

My fear is that their pack will just obliterate ours. GI can do damage, but it's Taylor, Burgess x 2 and Luke off the back of them that really worry me. No Snowy going into a game like this is just brutal.

We don't want to play this game in the forwards Pervy. Need to move the ball in this one. Completions and a good, deep kicking game is paramount. Getting up on there back three after a kick is vital.

Isaac Luke is the bloke that worries me. He could potentially murder us around the ruck. Let's hope he has an off day.

We need to get early ball put to Tahu and Gagai and is our advantage in the backline. If Taia and Cuthbo keep up their current form, we should be in with a shout.

Aku for a hattrick.

Our left attack against everingham could yield big rewards. Timana is really running his lines like a demon. Play where our strength lies. Gagai has made our left to right attack tenfold more potent if that fails so moving the ball is a more likely option.

If we can take the contest to the backs, that would be ideal... but we may not necessarily be able to dictate those terms. Luke definitely concerns me.

We've blown out to $4.10 with the bookies. Is there something going on that we're not aware of?

Inglis wont have the same support around him on the weekend, Souffs 3/4 line is terrible. Penrith contained him well last week by making him turn. If one of our backs makes a break Im confident they will get past him 1-1, Morris highlighted just how poor he is defencively at the back

Mullo and Roberts will need to bring their kicking A game
Your right Panthers contained him well, they sent him up to QLD to train with the origin side.good observation though.

lol well I guess it wasn't the Panthers game I was thinking of then

Either way, you make Greg turn and run for the ball you can neutralise him to a degree.
