If Junior plays after Origin, then it might only be in the bench spot where a middle forward gets one 20min stint... and if he doesn't play we'll need NBrown on the bench again (obviously).

A bit weird. Last game he played was V The Brave Chooks. He played 61 mins in 2 stints but finished the game. If he plays next game it will be 5 weeks absence. He has been selected every week except this week and according to BA he just had to get through the Captains Run.

But I'm not sure I see the benefit of him coming off the bench...

And a bench of Makatoa, Kaufusi, and Rodwell is awful (except for Rodwell, whom I do like).

Makatoa offers nothing on either side of the ball, and Kaufusi is badly out of form.

I am, but not for a few seasons.

I think he has a good footy brain, and decent skill level - but his execution is lacking.

But he's still very young.

He’s very slow. Not sure how he’ll make up for that.

We play Brisbane next Thursday night.

Surely we rest junior otherwise he plays 3 games in 8 days.

I suppose BA has to name a team on Tuesday so no harm in putting him in originally then taking him out.

I have to say for someone who has served our club so well Nathan Brown is being treated very poorly. Not picking him despite being one of the best 17 players in the team is akin to bullying. I don’t see how we’re any shot at the title if Brown isn’t in the side considering how much of a drop off in forward quality there is after the starting 13.
