They defended their line through multiple onslaughts of 6 tackle sets and we couldn't break it. Both of our tries were flukes really. You're right though we played terribly but we're not a top 4 team I thought that's been apparent for a while.

Our inability to get over the line was as much to do with our ineptitude as it was their defense. Of course we aren't top 4, but neither is the Roosters team that ran out tonight.

Our season is over. Move Cody to 6 so that he and Reyno can start to form a partnership. I couldn't care less about whether he's a better fullback than AJ. Unless he's playing him at the back next year, get him into the halves.

That's the thing about Cody... I don't know where he's gonna be next year. Souths are really going all out for Maloney. Doesn't show much respect for him tbh.

Tbh I'm not too sure with that. I don't think there's any teams outside of the 8 that would of broke the roosters defence anymore that we would've tonight. Their desperation tonight was enough to get them the win and I think there's only about 5 teams in the comp who would've beaten them tonight. Which just goes to show we're not a top 8 team.

I've been thinking about the Maloney purchase quite a bit. The more the season goes on the more you can see how much he'd benefit this club. I'll be the first to admit we miss Luke keary. This GI injury has really f**ked our spine.

I really think Cody is as good as Keary. He was great to start the year. You are absolutely right about the GI injury. Not only are we missing our best attacking weapon, we are also missing $1M out of our salary cap and have had to move Cody and Sutto to unpreferred positions.

Man didn't JWH have a great game tonight. He was honestly twice as good as our best forward (Crichton). It's insane how many stars the roosters have in their top 17.

In a nutshell fellas the Sharks smacked a full strength Roosters outfit,we lost to their B side.
We are so far behind the top sides at the moment and unless we come up with some mongrel front rowers and a decent bench next season, get used to this garbage!

Take a breath and reassess, we lost because we didn't treat the footy and opposition with respect, not because we are dross. If we use our heads a little more we will cause a few headaches for our opposition in the run home.
