Yet for some crazy reason the Club extended his contract at start of the season. This Club will never learn and to be honest - we will be a mid ladder team for years. We don’t have the players, juniors are over rated, a swag of old journeymen and a Club divided and stuck in the past and seen as old fashioned. Coaching staff are not up to the speed of the modern game. Nothing will change, no point getting all upset about it anymore.
Why can’t the board see all this - absolutely mystifying ..

He overran it because, Lomax wasn't looking to see where Moga had positioned himself. Basic under 8's skill lessons have obviously gone amiss with this fella, seems as though or the hype he gets when it comes off has gone to his head. FMD.

I disagree.

Moga was caught hopelessly behind the play the first time, then overcompensated by overrunning it the second time around.

I'm not sticking up for Lomax, it's just my opinion of both plays...

Haven't seen many people say the Woods sin bin was unjustified, ditto with Sims last week, although I think the first one was unjustified. Some of the sin bin's earlier in the year were justified too.

So is it the refs or is it the team and coach? Probably the latter. Although it would be nice to see someone on the opposition sin binned.

The sin bin rule just has to change.

With the current 6 again rule and speed of the game, teams can rarely stay in the game as the fatigue factor is just to high at the back end of the game.

Either move to penalty alone or 5 min sin bin for repeat offences by the same player...

Yep agree. I nearly died when that moment happened and it went to shit pretty quickly after that. You can’t invite sides to hurt you especially the Roosters who have way too many guns to be sitting outside the top 8

Was it against the Rabbits when he did one 10m out from our line and led directly to a try?

I'm sorry but this is supposed to be professional rugby league. The coach needs to step in at some point. There is a time and place for it but now, as one of our senior players, he needs to realise the team is bigger than he is.

It was the turning point in a game we could have won.

That was the Cowboys game. I think from memory it was the start of the 2nd half and we were down 20-6. Same scenario to Moga and the ball hit the deck and the cows picked it up and scored to blow it out to 26-6 within 2 mins of the start of the 2nd half

Team is mostly devoid of talent, Hunt an exception. Frequently mentioned is the fact that most of the recruiting ha been of older washed up players, it reflects in performances. The executives running the club are responsible in a big way for the current situation There has been a lack of planning and forward thinking. Very disappointing.
The management of the club, is on Par with the West Tigers....

I'm not disagreeing but if he was looking & could see he was out of position he should have hung onto the ball & not give them possession to score in the next play.
That is what started the turn around in the game.

In the same game, he also threw a pass into row 10 and then blamed Moga for not catching it. Shite teammate...

The way Wests are taking the game to Penrith is making me even more annoyed about the way our mob capitulated against an understrength Rorters side yesterday.
I think that for the rest of 2022, instead of watching us play, I'm going to get on youtube and watch games from the 70s/80s/90s.

Hook did say that he thought it wasn’t a sin bin or even a penalty. I have to agree that was a very harsh call to bin Woods and that happens every game every week. Some refs let it go and some cane you. Same ref 2 weeks in a row, same tough 50 50 call
Has anyone else noticed that since, the media hysteria about Ben Hunt at the end of the Raiders game, the Dragons have copped a sin bin at the slightest excuse from referee Atkins? He obviously doesn't want the media to think he is being soft on the Dragons, so has gone the other way and is over punishing them. I hope he doesn't get the Dragons next game!

i refrained from posting after the game i was that disgusted, apart from a couple of players a totally inept performance, blame whoever you like it was just embarrassing, we have a snap board meeting tomorrow, top of the agenda should be the coaching staff, and whilst we are at it what players have we got for the future. apparently there are some players not getting on with the coach. the season as far as im concerned is over, we dont deserve to be anywhere near the top 8 we are a disgrace, to get 42 pts put on you in one half is pathetic. i will be awaiting the results of our snap meeting by the board with eagerness, lets hope its not an extension past next year . actually it should be an immediate sacking of him and others.

Is this fact or are you suggesting a snap meeting or was a board meeting already in place???
If so, could only be for team performance under current coaching staff.
