That could make life interesting. Surely peachey gets some time there too?

I swear half the people complaining about Cartwright playing 5/8th were the same people saying he is the best option 2 weeks ago...

Did Smith actually do much wrong other than dropping that ball? His 'misread' for the try looked more a case of Cleary being burnt on the outside by Barba. I could be wrong but I think he had to try and jam it. I feel for the guy so maybe I'm being lenient, but I thought he looked decent with the ball in centre and held his own in defence.

Smith was shown up by Mitch Brown all game........Mitch f**king Brown. I really don't want to see what a half decent centre would do.

Interesting to see what options there are... preferably would again look to the future so we can get something out of this year and pick Peach with Katoa on the bench. Smith might even get a look in. Dockar Clay against his former club? Griffin will probably look within the current 17 or so.

None of these things make a lick of sense. (a) If the coach cannot get a team to follow his "game plan", then he should not be a coach, period. (b) We had an option - Soward - but we dumped him and then let him walk for poor form. You think the coach has nothing to do with a decision like that? We have another option, but apparently Griffin, like you, would rather assume Moylan will not be up to it and continue to play someone who is currently proving he is not up to it. Come on. (c) We have an inexperienced team because our coach got rid of three of our most experienced players. Pretty basic really.

Is that why we got rid of Cleary - because players didn't follow his game plan? Snith did drop the ball a couple of times when Cleary was coaching so that must be Cleary's fault. Our defense started leaking when Cleary was still here, so that must be Cleary's fault. Blake had loose carries when Cleary was here too...

Yep, every time a player makes a stupid mistake it is the Coach's fault that they are not following the game plan. Gee, the turnover in NRL coaches will be spectacular under your management won't it..

Yep, that'll fix the 5/8 problem - put a totally out of form player back after he has shown he's not up to it.

You want Segs back in this post, but then you say "Good thing we got rid of Segeyaro." - just shows what a halfwit you are.

Doesn't surprise me that it doesn't make a lick of sense to you.

Tom.

I didn't see that at all TBH, thought he held his own.

People need to get over Sege going. Griffin, Gould and co. were left with little choice. I'd rather set a precedent with behaviour then keep someone who clearly doesn't give a shit about the club or its culture, and come 8th rather than 7th.

Griffin sucks imo, you cant just blame the players, its the coaches job to coach and our problems are getting worse, not better. I don't care about any of the players we released besides Taylor who would of always been my lock. Our game plans just suck, defence is shit and we have no real attacking structures, its just all off the cuff. All year we have been soft through the middle and its not improving, Griffins big idea was to put Matagi at lock, he just isn't a good coach period. This is the least injured we have been for 3 or 4 years so im not buying the injury excuse after Cleary got punted last year.

We are like the 76ers in the nba right now, lots and lots of young talent but still years away from putting it together if it ever happens which is doubtful under this muppet coach.

We weren't in that game at all on sunday, not one bit. The 7-1 penalty count at halftime kept us in it, as soon as penalties and possession evened up they pulled right away. We were up against a defensive line with 5 or 6 starters missing and we could barely trouble it all, they defended just about everything we threw at them with ease, that's really pathetic.

Re Will Smith, he is a good reserve grader that's it. He isn't up to FG. He gifted them at least two tries with his bad reads and errors. He always has a crucial error or two in him, he is too light and is a liability to be driven backwards or sideways over the line. I don't care what he does in reserve grade stop f**king picking the shit merkin.

We get it... you think the club can do no wrong and blindly accept everything as being out of their control.

You certainly have a higher tolerance for failure then the rest of us.

So I complain about how Bryce went and the fact that he was selected at 5/8 and that means that I think the club can do no wrong? Usual crap from you.

So you think it is wrong for the club to give Segs and Taylor the flick? You think that we should play an out of form Soward at 5/8 and that will solve our problem at 5/8? How about you answer these two questions before you change the topic to "you think the club can do no wrong" bullsh!t.

I always said that Taylor should be our starting lock but if we aren't going to pick him then he has to be released.

That being said why the hell wouldn't we pick him? We are crying out for a player exactly like Taylor in the middle, since signing him the tigers have been a much better team then they were. So yes it was a big bloody mistake not playing Taylor imo. We have a bunch of forwards that cant f**king tackle and a team that consistently gets exposed through the middle and Taylor cant even get a run?? WTF is that shit? How is it not a mistake?

Parra are going to f**king kill us this week.

I agree about Taylor. On the surface it seems like a mistake to let him go, but I believe that there were rumours about discontent or arguments or something along those lines with him.

The 7-1 penalty count at halftime kept us in it, as soon as penalties and possession evened up they pulled right away.

I do believe the Sharks tactics were to give away penalties in the first half in order to get their defence set, knowing the refs would even things up in the second. The only one of the 8 penalties in the first half that wasn't warranted was the one the Sharks received.

What lost us this game was being unable to score when we were attacking their line along with being unable to stop them scoring whenever they got anywhere close. You expect the competition leaders with 12 straight wins to have a strong defence, it was really our rather sad defence that was the difference. We badly need a topline defensive coach if we're going to keep Hook, because he clearly isn't capable of coaching strong defence.

don't know how we are $1.60 favourites to beat parra... unless the norman sex tape gets him stood down
More likely the possession charge for which he faces court tomorrow. Unfortunately, Parra have not shown much propensity to stand down errant players (note Radradra didn't return to training when he was supposed to, yet he still played in the next match), so far so I suspect they'll continue to play him until their hand is forced.

Soward should have been kept. If not for depth alone. What did we gain by letting him go? We lost our only experienced half and is the reason we are using Cartwright in the halves.

Elijah Taylor was 100% the wrong decision. He should have been playing 80 minutes at lock from Round 1. Coach is 100% wrong here. He was our best defender and offers more than the forwards that Griffin favored over him.

Segeyaro is the player we probably need most. If Wallace is out were beyond f**ked. But if he broke the law he needed to be let go. What he's guilty of (if anything) isn't exactly clear. It seems he was just present while Corey Norman made extremely poor decisions. Meanwhile Eels are offering him huge money and other clubs are trying to outbid them.

We had a much better roster at the start of the season then we do now. The coach has made these decisions that made our roster worse and the team has gotten worse aswell.
