Yeah. I can't see it being Jennings 4 games in 2 months no matter how good is crazy. Unless Manu is fit Brown to centre then Sadly is Naiqama. Hopefully he is on the wing with Roberts in the centres.

Well there goes any chance we had at a win. Wes Naiqama has a horrible record with us in first grade, with our only win being Round 1.

Ok. So is this forced selections due cap pressure or just shit selectios with no pressure?

Forced from what I was told. What we did to get Moylan to stay in FG essentially has bitten us in the ass as we convinced Salary Cap auditors that Wes wasn't a fullback...so when we wanted someone to play centre they said.."well Wes is a centre" essentially.

He defence proves otherwise it should be enough. Lets hope he's on the wing rather then centre. Still we had Daniela & Mansour both are better then Naiqama.

Yes but why the hell would you unless the injury was a last minute occurrence and you had too. They'e had plenty of notice.

If we had Mansour available and chose to play Naiqama then we clearly don't want to win. We've lost something like our last 7 games with Wes in the team. He is so far off first grade it's not funny. Even Purtell was part of a winning team more regularly.

Wes Naiqama being nowhere to be found defensively today. Every run down his side is good easy metres, both tries being scored when he could have been able to stop them. Deadset. How is this guy in first grade?

This will make 7 losses in a row with him in the team. We had turned our win ratio around with winning 7 of our last 10 games... and him being part of one of those losses. Meaning without him we were 7 wins in 9 games.

That's a pretty damning statistic against him. With him in the team... 1 win and 7 losses. With those 7 losses being consecutive. Without him in the team... 7 wins in 9 games. With him ending a 3 game winning streak when he returned to replace Moylan earlier in the season, and looking to do the same thing here today. Cleary is f*cking clueless for selecting him. Any player in our top 25 would be doing a better job. Even if they're out of position.... although we had Mansour for the wing and Roberts for centre as an easy decision to make.

I know the game isn't over and we're only down by 2... but unless we hook Naiqama I can't see us winning. Move Brown to the centres and have Simpkins or Ciraldo in the forwards. Not ideal, but it's still a step above having Naqiama on the field.

It's not right that salary cap auditors are able to dictate to teams who they can select. Better system urgently required.

Two streaks ended by bringing Naiqama back. But it's still the coaches fault. Other options were available. He chose the worst possible option.

Brown at centre. Or Roberts with Mansour on the wing. Surely we need to fluke a win with Wes soon though. 7 losses in a row... He is due for a win.

you cant blame the coach .We are being told not only who we can pick but where they can play. And next week could be worse with docker out and maybe brown suspended

Mansour is part of our top 25 and could have played wing with Roberts shifting to centre. Brown could have played centre... with ANYONE coming onto the bench.

The coach chose Naiqama... and his losing streak continued. With most points coming where he should have been defending. Our defence looked much better when Brown replaced him at centre, not sure why Wes came back on the field. Even with Docker injured, we had two other players on the bench better equipped for first grade then him.

Daniela, Mansour and Smith (with Brown in the centres) all were options all better then Naiqama.

That said. I was expecting us to have nothing. We have only gone well against terrible teams.

Shit having Walsh and Ciraldo in the team doesn't seem so bad when you see what Wes Naiqama has to offer. Alteast we're able to win with those blokes in the side. Wes Naiqama is too big of a hurdle for us to overcome though.

Ciraldo had one of his better games today. Not good... but not bad or terrible. He stuffed up at the end and it worked out for an extremely unlikely try. I love how often unconventional plays where blokes who should be nowhere near the ball on the last pay off like that. The defence just doesn't rate them as a chance at being a threat... and something flukey happens and a try is scored. Walsh was annoying... he has some obsession with wasting 2 or 3 tackles every set and kicking early. For kicks that could have just as easily been done on the 5th. All up he probably wasted 4 or 5 sets with those tackles we missed out on.
