Last night I was seated in 101 and at the end of the game walked to the front rows and waited for the boys. They came over, looking sore and sorry for themselves, gave the fans a well deserved clap and turned towards the sheds.

Then over came John Sutton. He jumped 2 metal barracades and made his way over to greet fans in 105, he was posing for photos and signing autographs. He slowly started to walk towards us, greeting everyone with a smile and being the ultimate professional. He was called away for his presentation but promised he’d be back for the fans he didnt get to.

He took part in the presentation, gave an interview and started to jog over to the waiting fans, who could not have been happier to see him return. He continued to greet everyone and fulfil any request made of him. I shook his hand, congratulated him on his 300th game and he posed for a photo with me.

This absolutely made my night and the trip from Brissie well worth it. What a man. It was his night. The other 16 were in the sheds, having a laugh and a beer, but he gave his time for the fans that love him. He didnt have to do that. He didnt have to run back long after everyone else had left. He had every right to be in the sheds enjoying a beer with his family, friends and teammates. To me this just shows the character of the man. The heart and soul of Souths: John Sutton.
Wow, that's so awesome bro! What a man Sutto is!!

I'm so gutted we couldn't get the job done for him.

I'd forgotten how terrible it feels waking up on a Sunday morning after a loss and knowing I'm going to be like a bear with a sore head all week and not worth talking to and I hate it!
I'm sure the lads feel the same way,we got schooled yesterday and I hope it's a lesson learnt....back to the books fellas!

Didn't miss much. Credit to the Tigers as they played this perfectly as they were allowed to by poor refing... how one of them wasn't binned was beyond me.

That first half we were off but you can't do much when you get called for an obstruction 30m out that is no way an obstruction. Mal Meninga also said the Sam penalty against was a joke yep got him around the chest. They constantly had markers offside and offside in general... falling over at scrums Itsa so wes have to wait 4-5mins for a scrum to be packed... if that's the standard Ricky Stuart is right in that the game is f**ked...

We just missed too many tackles in the end and our attack was poor.. stop start stop start doesn't help us at all!!

f**k you have no idea! Penalties count went to souths 12-6.

So many tears

If you seriously think the reffing in the first half wasn’t horrible against Souths, you need to start watching a different game. It wasn’t the reason we lost, we were poor and the Tigers were good, but Cecchin was absolutely disgraceful those first 40 minutes.

What decisions, specifically, were disgraceful?

There is a reeking stench permeating this game which is "VERY LOOSELY" called RL!!
With this degree of stench,if one sniffs around closely enough, piles of shit will be found everywhere!
The game is NOT even a shadow of what it is meant to be.
The referees even fail to enforce basic rules in the interest of letting the "so-called" game of RL flow.
The game is very similar now to a school-yard game I played as a kid---"BUNG-RULES."
Today, the game should change its name-------I suggest maybe;"SHITBALL."

Oi guys go into the Tigers forum if you want a laugh. I've sure had a chuckle.

Apparently our backs 2-5 without GI are ordinary.

Yep our wingers Campbell and Jennings are nothing special.

Apparently all Jennings does is put the ball down. Let's ignore his toughness and pace plus quick play the balls and improvement in all areas of his games:)

Apparently Campbell has lots of errors in him too:)

Bloody hell I am getting a laugh...... it's hilarious over there......

Correctamundoorootytooty again r20 !!!!!!!
It IS a laught to come into the opposition's forum for a laugh !!!!!!
We scored so many points through those ordinary backs we identified !!!!!!
Checcin did his best to hand you the game !!!!!!!

We didnt lose because of the refs, we were terrible and Wests were good, but the refs were pathetic that first 40. And the 70th minute square up of 5 straight penalties was so transparent it was a joke.
it's so easy to blame the ref

I thought the Farah forward pass was crap. Denied a try. And also the one where Benji knocks it back 2 meters and it was called a knock on.
Hmmmm. Teams can overcome calls going against them then.

The Farah forward pass was understandable IMO. A 50-50

Would an 18-0 penalty count against the tigers be acceptable?
No mate,I'm not making any excuses.
Your mob won we lost all is done and dusted.
No one to blame but ourselves,we got caught with our pants down.
What I'm pointing out is that a good game is always ruined no matter what teams are involved by the prick with ears Cecchin!

The better team won but we had no chance in that first half with those calls.... if they charge Sam for a hard hit around the chest then the game well and truly is f**ked.... it was actually Tatola that caught Robbie flush on the nose... not too much in it!

In the second half we were our own worst enemy..... just a bit off all over the paddock!
I wouldnt worry about the loss, all teams have them, just bounce back boys.
Souths have always been a respected team of mine since the 1960s,
Keep ya heads up.

The one where Sam was put on report! The one where we were penalised for an obstruction that wasn't. The fact your markers were never square and Sutto caught them out twice oh but penalty for Robbie for catching out the markers..... you guys held us down so so much and Cecchin was flapping his arms like a bat to get you onside and you were 3 metres ahead of him.... plus you had a little knock on but he let it go...

The fact you were not sin binned in the latter stages of that match was a joke... Yeo we got the last 6 penalties once the game was over...... typical.... first half was disgraceful refing as I expected... the better team won though
