The reality is he's better running the ball straight and picking his moments to take risky plays. The reality is before last game he was trying miracle plays on every single touch and yeah some came off... but more of them failed and it showed he just isn't a half. Hos try assists improved in that.. but our error counts went up as did points against us.

Thats his only game at half where the good moments outweighed the bad. It's not our first win with him there. His games have proven he's not a half. Why not just throw Latu in the halves? He gets try assists too and tries his hand at playmaking.

Cartwright doesnt have the patience and ability to control a game in the halves. His first instinct is to run sideways and go for miracle plays and nobody knows what he's going to do. That's not how a good half operates.

He was terrific last night. But the biggest improvement was the fact he was playing more like he did in the second row and gave up his miracle plays on every touch.

Carty has a roving license.Instead of structured play, the ad-lib is always on the cards.Trouble with unstructured play is it can backfire if the opposition steals possession and your defensive line isn't set.

Rather have the unstructured play then the take it up and get tackled option. That is dead set boring as batshit football.
