I said early in the season that should be done..

But that aside. Kenny could be lock. Or Leota start JFH to lock. Which allows Cartwright or Leinu on the bench or the best player in NSW Cup for the last 2 years has been Burns..Get him in.

Is he likely at any point in the next 12 - 24 months?

And the 7 inarow wasn't as good as it seems on paper too

We did build slowly but I just think we could do with some speed and power from a guy like Crichton.

Lenui is another one that should be given a go.

Crichton didn't play last week has been on the wing. Needs centre game time.

Burns and Leiunu would be in my 17 right now

Can somebody in the club sit down with Ashley Klein and find out what the issue is? For a club that has made the finals 4/5 years how can we have a win percentage of <25% with the one referee? There has to be something there!

A very valid point.

We dont know how much better either team can get. But Raiders best so far this season has been much better than ours IMO.

Im hearing gillard to eels on a big money deal from next season.Just on naden and mansour i was sitting behind the goal posts at the cricket field end where penrith were warming up and i can tell you the 2 blokes who had a crap warm up were those 2 naden and mansour. They looked lethargic and out of sorts no surprise they both were off there game naden is young and he will improve id be letting mansour go at seasons end to be honest.

Is that inside info or just the news reports on RCG?

Is there flu going through the team or is that just their attitude on the Day?

I agree We had patches where we were on top Had some bad calls Thats footy I thought we scrapped pretty well Canberra this year have great chance to go deep WE WERE NOT DISGRACED AT ALL I think that loss will serve us well As far as luai goes i think he will b good but still has to much air between the ears NADEN NEEDS TO PASS THE BLOODY BALL

Jacky boy also didn't derp.....
Simple jack keeps its simple. Belt merkins, run hard, pass to players who are better spots than him!
Simple Jack is derping less each game he plays, which is probably to be expected for a guy with his... limited footy IQ... and experience in the position

Honestly i thought that was a banger game, and both sides put on a good game of footy. The panthers just couldnt crack our defence which is a major part of our game now we moved on the fat slugs like Boyd and Paulo and replaced them with Bateman who has a motor like you wouldnt believe

I think the panthers would have beaten most sides last night. There is 2-3 sides capable of defending sets back to back like that.

But honestly if people think this raiders team cant improve, they arent paying attention. We've got Nic Cotric and BJ to come back into this side.

Only 1 thing beat us more yesterday than the refs and it was the Raiders :p . Was closer than the score in the end but you were the better side clearly

We got beat by the better team on the day. But when you look at that they scored a try whilst we were a player short, another that was very dubious, and had a few vital 50-50s go their way that lead to tries, we were right in it. No disgrace and plenty to look forward to!

The carry-on about the refs yesterday was embarrassing - including on the field.

The Whare sin bin was the result of a panic decision - the kick was covered at the back, Croker wasn't going to get there.

Raiders exploited the strip rule well. Their 4th try was from Mansour's drop - but following the 1st tackle strip on To'o after the Raiders had handed the ball over on the Panthers 40.

At 26-18, RCG having the ball stolen on the kick-off return following Tamou's try was poor on his part. Raiders had been attacking the ball all game - ball protection should have been key. Gave up field position and momentum.

Final try to Raiders off a short dropout chasing points.

So certainly no shame in the result. A bit more effort from some players (Naden), a bit more experience for others (To'o) and maybe less shitting the bed (Mansour, Whare, RCG) could see us get the result on another day.
