Also in regards to that (kicking to the other wing) how good is Fergos handling this year (touch wood)! If he has cut out all the mistakes from his game this year (he was targetted a lot last year due to issues under the high ball, etc) he should be pushing for rep honours.
Yeah for sure Fergo is so much more composed than he was last year.
It was unfortunate but last year the boys all but gave up about 7 rounds out from the end of the season and it really showed.
This year there is no doubt in my mind that the review has improved the way everyone approaches their jobs from the top to the bottom of the clubs structure and you can obviously see that coming out in the players performances.
I travelled to the coast on the weekend and one of the highlights for me was to see the way Dave Furner was so happy to see the way it is all coming together for the club this year.
I'm sure there is going to be more ups and downs throughout the year but can confidently say that this team (minus any major injury concerns) will be right there when the whips are cracking at finals time.
