why have Cartwright and Taylor on the bench, both are 80 minute players.
And Philip Gould is wrong about ZDC he is not up to NRL standard and will never be.
Anthony Griffin was a poor coach at the Broncos and nothing has changed.

I tend to agree with you about giving TMM a try, but Wallace at hooker had a very good game and I think he's safe.

The coach needs to stop playing ducks and drakes with the side. It's not helping.

Almost everyone had a good game. We gave 110% and led for 79 minutes but at the end of the day we lost. We had more than enough opportunities when leading to seal the deal, get the job done, secure the two points but in attack we offered little threat, that is the problem.

The return of Moylan whenever that may be is only part of the solution? He won't we able to do it all by himself.

Wallace did play well, he has been enjoyed a stellar career, a bit with us, most with the Broncos but he is not our future but yes it is time to move on. Bring in TMM, he may not guide us to success in 2016 but we need to look at the bigger picture. Griffin really has nothing to lose. His job is safe for a couple of seasons at least. Bring in TMM, bring in either ZDC or Katoa when he is fit again, keep JFH in the side for the future and don't do what he did for the Bulldogs in bringing back players who were clearly not ready or fit.

I think Phil Gould knows what he is doing.

I was skeptical of Griffin at the start, and even more so now. Cartwright and Taylor on the bench is dumb-f**kery, and this "bore the opposition" a weak facsimile of what genuinely good coaches do. Why we hired this personality-free turnip, I'll never know. We'll be 0-4 in a couple of weeks.

If we look down the road at the West's Tigers, they too had young gun halves who were touted as superstars. Last year at the Tigers they were awful. They are still trying to learn the game and build their bodies up so they can cope with the high intensity of the NRL.

The calls for TMM to be rushed into first grade and turned into our saviour are understandable, but fraught with danger. He is still young, still, building his body up to cope with the physical impacts.

He should be brought into first grade like the other players have in the last few years. A few games on the bench, a few games starting, then back down to NSW cup. If he is as good as everybody says, we don't want to damage him before he even gets started. I hope TMM get's a run, but it isn't fair to drop him in first grade and expect him to turn the team around.

It's a different situation with us. Brooks and Moses came up together, that was always going to be difficult. Here, TMM would have Soward taking a lot of the pressure off him. More like Elgey and Sezer.

On Fox tonight they said Blake only had a bad cork. Great news if true
Serious? The way he was rolling around in pain I thought a tear or break of something. Flash looked in less pain after doing his ACL in 2011 and his terrible ankle break in 2012. Pretty sure he walked off the field both times too.

Hes right. Prefer honesty over bullshit

Even so he should be focusing on his own game and leading the team to work harder and execute better, not looking for excuses as to why the result should've been different

Sure a couple of decisions didn't go our way, but the reality is we had plenty of opportunities in their 20m and couldn't score points, a large part of that falls on Soward as our leader in the halves.

I really think this season is gonna go downhill fast, I echo the sentiment that we've replaced a good coach with a conservative attack with a mediocre coach with an even more conservative attack.

I don't think it's a good sign when the leaders of your side are already making excuses

I don't think he is making excuses but rather being honest when addressing the question as let's face it, Cameron Smith does get away with stuff from the refs with the standover tactics he uses. Having said that, I am past blaming the refs, we are losing games due to dropping the ball, giving away stupid penalties and poor options (or no options) on 4th and 5th tackles.

If he's fit we can atleast name a backline with blokes in position.

Actually wasn't George Jennings supposed to be ready for Round 3? I feel like we were expecting everyone back before either Round 3 or 4. Except for Seggy.

Somehow put myself through watching a replay of the game and the one change thats most needed is to move Peach from 5/8. TMM is the one who should play and would really benefit from a full year partnering Soward. He wouldn't need to kick often and could just be given freedom to run whenever he wants.

Agree. If Moylan is back it will help a lot obviously but if Dallin is FB we need another half out there Soward can't do it all.

It amazes me how negative people are especially regarding Griffin. Bloody hell, we were 20 seconds off being 1 - 1 and everyone saying how courageous we are given the short turnaround, heat and injuries. Our attack will come. First time we've ever played with that formation, to think we would be capable of sweeping backline moves after 2 light training sessions is pure stupidity. We played the way we had to play and gave a great account of ourselves.

Plenty of time left in the season for TMM to debut. Pretty sure he's played a total of 2 games against real men.
