although we are 0-2 and even though the raiders and dogs werent that tough opponents if our attack improves we are not doing that badly considering the warriors and possibly roosters, knights, eels and sharks and or dragons could all be on 0 points at the end of thsi round

What are the odds that all of the Roosters, Knights, Eels, Sharks and Dragons lose this week though?

This time last year we had won our opening two matches. We were huge underdogs against the Bulldogs coming off an awful pre-season and we took it to them and won. We then went and put 40 points on the Titans without conceding any points. We sat top of the ladder on f/a. Then we lost Jamie Soward and our season just went from bad to worse.

Well i feel a bit better now that it seems the Dogs and Raiders look like they'll be pretty strong sides at this early stage. We have a few top players to come back and have matched two seemingly strong sides. If we get the halves right we could have a solid season.

We were the only side not to score more than 400 points last season, and we have struggled in attack in our first two games. Not sure why everyone is convinced that it is just a matter of time before we suddenly figure out how to score tries.

Yep. Worst attack and most errors. Nothings changed so far.

And a lot of people on here seem to think our attacking problems are solved when Moylan returns but I don't think it's that simple. Sure he is a great player but he has played one game in 6 months so it's likely to take him a few weeks to find some form. Considering we are playing a good defensive side in the Broncos next week there is a better than even chance we will be 0/3.

If we win next week we need to be defensively on. And yeah seeing how rusty moylan was in the trial he won't be near his best straight away. Hopefully we feels more free now but who knows. I think our set plays will be more crisp but that doesn't guarantee that the opposition won't have already prepared for this and read and shut it down easily. Cartwright is one of the main keys to our attack, we need him firing but he is also being well shut down

Moylan doesn't fail us, it shouldn't be the case we have to rely on him with the experienced halves we have but it is what it is. He was leading try assists before he went down. We will be way better in attack with him back, it's just not likely to be enough to do much this season unless we can find some points from somewhere else.

Cartwright to half is my solution. Have another big man running outside him and let him play, rather than him being the big man and having to run to the other side of the field to find something to work with.

He's looked great there, he had his best game there, he played there most the year we won the 20s.

The calls for TMM to be rushed into first grade and turned into our saviour are understandable, but fraught with danger. He is still young, still, building his body up to cope with the physical impacts.

TMM is already 2 years older than Greg Alexander was when he made his first grade debut, after one game in reserves and prior to that schoolboy football. He is three and a half years older than Brad Fittler was on debut.

The game has changed since the 80's I suppose, but they used to say if you're good enough you're old enough.

Curtis Scott- 2015 SG Ball Sharks.
Round 2 2016 NRL storm... Some teams just play them if they are good enough.

TMM, ZDC should both be in the side given the circumstances. Despite 1 dominating 2 years of age footy & the other in their 3rd season of FT pre season. Neither is deemed good enough for us.

Sam Clune has had 2 Seasons of footy v the men. So play him then he was good on the wkd

i never said he shouldn't be played at all. Just don't expect too much and rotate him in and out so his body isn't busted up.

You are being unfair to the Panthers because they have debuted plenty of youngsters in the last few years. I'm pretty sure Curtis Scott won't play the whole season for the same reason, they don't want to break him.
