We were too negative in attacking positions going for goal twice when we were well on top of the opposition. Martin has to at least be on the bench we have no spark in the halves Soward the organizer and Martin to provide a bit of unpredictability. Cartwright also needs to play the whole game he is our most dangerous player even though he had a quiet game tonight.

I would think will smith would play centre and maybe yeo? Hardly an inspiring centre combo but we're already running out of options

What are peoples thoughts on Peachey playing in the centres? He held his own defending in the middle and on the edges for most of the game. I think Yeo is the most versatile in that regard and would slot in. I wouldn't say no to smith right now.

IF we lose two centres that's Moylan, Segeyaro, Whare and Blake out of our top 17. Not to mention that Sauce was limping for the last 4 or so minutes.

And yes we all know i really don't rate Smith but he'd be even worse at centre and get put into touch 3 or 4 times

How Reynold was not penalised for holding DWZ out of play when the dogs scored their first has got me f**ked. 2 on field refs, 2 touchies and the bunker all missed that shit. It was the difference in the end

Doggies also got away with a couple of shepherds coming out of their 1/4 late in the game as well. And the number of forward passes they got away with - 1 leading to a try. FMD.

Assuming all injurues rule players out:

1. Smith
2. Mansour
3. Hiku
4. Rennings
5. DWZ

Not sure we have any other options. Not horrible for several injuries. But not really up to the class of the Broncos either.

I still am unsure about Rennings. he has shown class in the lower grades but when given the chance in first grade albeit a few he has not been that great. would honestly despite his slow attack rather yeo there. does anyone know if Corey Harawira-Naera is anywhere near first grade he has impressed me, same with tyrone may.

Also gotta hand it to Sam Mckendry. He killed it. Not quiet peak Sam. But a HUGE step in the right direction. Massive turnaround in less than a week.

Our outside backs are getting zero attacking ball through the hands. Until Moylan is back at fullback to run the show and/or we bring Martin up we will be relying on Sowards kicking game and individual brilliance. I don't think we can afford to have a solid guy like Yeo out in the centers. Gotta give Rennings or Smith a chance and back them.

Yeah definitely. If he pulls that up and gets a repeat set we win the game and he's MoM for mine.

One of the conditions Gus set when he signed Griffin was that he had to keep all the support staff for the 1st year....ridiculous

Mckendry played awesome last night, good to see him rip in. Matagi, RCG, Merrin were all good as well. We matched them in the forwards that is for sure we just had no points in us. We didn't look like scoring except off kicks. I thought Elijah Taylor was great when he came on, he kept us in it with his defence when we were under the pump.

It was a gutsy effort from the team but the dogs didn't play very well and still beat us so that is telling. IF we cant score tries we are going nowhere, our outside backs got zero quality ball last night despite all the possession we had attacking their line. It is just depressing. Peachey should not play in the halves, it doesn't work. We need a second half that can create or we are going nowhere fast.
