The Yeo first receiver thing is just an evolution of the way the game is played now.

There is any number of 13’s in the game who get the ball as first receiver there not necessarily play makers as such it’s just a means to an end, giving the actual play makers a little more space wider of the ruck.

Yeo is just a great footy player, not because he is a playmaker if that’s what you believe, it’s because of his drive, determination, commitment etc etc.

One of our greatest players ever, the whole playmaker thing thou is a little unrealistic it’s just part of the overall game plan and tactical set up.

Were comparing apples to oranges.

The game plans of almost all sides are largely not dissimilar the game these days for the most part is very structured.

Some sides do it better than others, have better players in key positions and execute the game plans better when it counts.

Using say Chad Townsend as a comparison to what Isaiah Yeo does is flawed.

The Storm. Broncos and a few other clubs including the Sea Eagles have the ability at there best to put on big scores on there opponents. We for the most part don’t often win games by huge margins.

Im going down for the Storm game, should be interesting, early season not sure whether the outcome either way will mean too much long term.
