I think people need to forget mass changes.

Several on here thought we were under done for Vegas.

We flew out of Vegas Tuesday our time, Had 4 days off before a short prep for Roosters.

Game time is needed and we are flying in attack.

It's funny watching people take my 60 point win joke so seriously and act smug after a loss over it.

Roosters didn't win Panthers lost. Yes there's a difference. That was disgusting.

I wouldn't change anything other than switching Alamoti and McLean since Casey is a centre.

I'd switch Sorro and Garner too but yeah won't be many changes

The player we missed the most last night was Luai. But not because of his kicking, playmaking or even running game. It's his defense.

He was easily the best defensive 5/8 in the league with us, he did so much clean up work it was really incredible. That and he was also very talkative. People often laud Edwards for his ability to organise our defense but Luai was nearly as instrumental on his edge.

In saying that I feel it's a bit harsh to single out Cole here. We had an entire edge that lacked experience in general and had virtually no 1st grade experience together in that configuration. That is more on Ivan than the players.

What I didn't like about that edge is that rather than bounce back from their errors, their heads dropped, and they continued to get worse.

To my friends and family at the game, I chalked that loss down to Vegas hangover, early season slow start, and the loss of our home ground but the Roosters were so underdone those excuses just don't cut it. The only positive about this game is getting a wake up call early on.
