Poor Toby who's wearing some flack was absolutely out on his feet because he had to play 65 mins in the middle in the scorching heat because we couldn't afford to put that useless excuse for a prop back on. And I'm sorry, I've supported Flano heaps, but his decision to play Lawrie, and then start him, has to be seriously called into question. HUGE oversight and a selection he obviously regretted given the rotation (or lack thereof) that unfolded. But it should have been obvious to him, as it was to most of us here, that this was not going to end well. Thought we'd lose today as soon as I saw that team sheet an hour before kick off. Klemmer can't come in quick enough, and you'd say Lawrie not coming back on is pretty telling for round 4's team.

Gutho was our best, and probably BOG, but also a couple defensive howlers.

Su'A needs to pull his finger out, been awful to start the year. Needs to stop having one good year followed by absolute shit the next.

Cook may be the worst buy of the year. Does not know how to attack on the goal line at all, hospital passes everywhere, some really selfish plays today where it looked like it was more about him getting one up on his old club than playing for his team now. He embarrassed himself and Dragons fans today.

Ilias is the exact player I thought he would be.. he is going to prove absolutely no body wrong. He sucks.. simple as that. Got absolutely nothing. Throws passes that aren't on, setting his teammates up to get smashed, throws passes that hit the deck, defensively inept, and terrible at controlling a game. 6 points up, 13 to go. There was space in behind the line for a kick that would've pinned souths in the corner. Ilias tries a trick play with Sloan and sends him into a brick wall of defenders right where the ruck was. Instead of pinning souths on their own line, we turn it over more than 20m out from their line.

Thought Sloan did his job, wasn't too erratic, and got to ground most times quick enough not to get pushed back. Picked a couple moments correctly and was pretty good under the high ball. 215 run metres is a good effort from him. Stewart and Couchman tackled their asses off and tried hard, some of our better players today and they're 20 and 21. Senior players need to step up better than they did today.

Going to be a long year, especially with that spine and middle. Bottom 4 team, absolutely rotten.

Lawrie's inclusion was baffling from the start but to then only use him in one spell at the start of the first half was just wasteful.
I'd be fuming if I was Liddle, sitting on the bench while Cook does... whatever little he did.
JdB and Gutho are the only ones with any ticker and JdB undoes that by being stupid.
Bring on the bye. At least we get a two week furlough before Melbourne tear us a new one.

You’re wrong KingFlanno, our defence is worse than atrocious. Apparently it was worked on during the week. Have you ever seen more softer tries than the ones that Mamouzelos and Keppie scored? You would have thought Deano would remember the defensive system that worked 2009-2011 under Bennett. Apparently not. Strap yourselves in for another long season. Storm will put 60 on us.

Molo sadly is/was our best prop and he's no longer with us.

Ilias sucks he was slightly better today but he absolutely sucks last time he played in Wollongong was again us and he got hooked he's only the halfback until Atkinson arrives which can't come soon enough.

Anyway I'm pissed and as hell and over this shit we've lost to 2 arch arrivals at home 2 weeks in a row and we are still the dumbest and possibly laziest football I've ever seen.
