Round 2 vs The Dragons

Lazy marker defence left a huge gap last night. You would expect a half to head towards that gap

As for the Roosters. There were 3 other passes after that. We are doing things better as a team. Chances are we score those tries even Burton or someone is filling in

No that's not fair. Those other passes only worked due to Cleary's slight of hand. They don't take away from him they prove the point true.

Would allowing a bench of 6 be beneficial? Maybe the last 2 spots have to be players under 22 and played less than 50 games or something. Also can't play 2 weeks in a row. Probably not worth the hassle

Hmm maybe but coaches struggle to use the fourth man these days, 6 men on the bench just means you gotta find a way to get them on.

Crichton's try in the Roosters game was entirely set up with Cleary's passing creating the space for the backline. It was perfect.

Even the Crichton try in this game showed Cleary's ability to play what he sees and set someone up.

I wouldn’t say entirely. He held it up nicely, but equally important was the roosters defence didn’t hold its line & had come in field, that created space out wide.

That's how sliding defence works. Holding it up like he did stopped the slide for a second because he got them thinking about Kikau.

It definitely got them thinking about Kikau, but the winger was way in field too. I think someone was missing from their defensive line. Morris came in because it was the only way to shut it down.

2015 we started 2-0. Ended up playing off for the spoon.

All teams will need to keep developing as the year goes on. All I see is a discussion on how to do that here
Those wins were a shitload better too.

Although Soward and his back injury were completely f**ked up by our coaching and medical staff.

It was a huge stuff up. This team has potential but some questions needing to be answered. That is where I see these convos not bagging

I think that's what the fans who complain about critism don't consider. Even the club and players will want improvement as well.

I don’t see why 2 clubs couldn’t organise a game played at a training venue.

You would think the academy is safe to play games if they can train.

I have liked what I have seen but

Need to get Crichton starting
Bench has been ordinary but a few guys coming back should help.

It is round 2. Plenty of time to fix it. Storm and Canberra will show how good we really are

NSWRL has shut down all competitions including training. I guess technically only Top 30 players should still be involved in club organised activities.
