This game was on the 20th of last month. 4 of the longest weeks we all have had to endure as sports fans. Only another month to go.

Lets hope so. I'm running out of jobs to do at home. The house has never looked so good. Even the cars got washed this weekend, oh and the lawns have been mowed as well....

FOX replayed the 91 grand final yesterday, i thought watching that might help with my footy cravings but really all it did was make it worse!

I really think given we accept there is unlikely to be any loosening of the restrictions around the re-opening of clubs, restaurants, cafe’s, bar’s etc any time soon I would have thought maybe our Politicians would have seen the value around getting major sporting codes up and running again even if games are going to be played in empty stadiums. I think having our major sporting codes up and running would have been a shot in the arm for such a huge proportion of our population and given everyone a lift. My attitude give how low our infection rate stands is we should be endeavouring to make it happen rather than putting up barriers.

I think this and the NRL's commitment to keeping its players isolated from the outside world is the reason Government appears to be giving the green light to an early resumption.
