Beyond belief that they can have that many opportunities in the 2nd half and only score two tries. Just shows how pathetic the teams attack is under Mary. He does the same thing every year and yet us still in charge. Its the definition of insanity. Wasted time and money going down to watch that crap.
Mate they are all protected , too many mates mates and more mates .....

Disgusting refereeing performance. Slowest play the ball all year then we get penalised for leaving early.

Two weeks in a row. A high tackle stops a try and nothing more than a penalty.
You must be taking the p*ss? We had enough ball & field position in that 2nd half to score 30 points. The refs gifted us penalties.
This loss is well & truly a result of our halves failing to take control & a coach hell bent on continuing to reward poor performers(Nighty, Aitken, Lafai).

Referees gave us penalties as they were due but missed the elbow and gave them a penalty when they needed it.

The first half was more of a concern. A few penalties doesn’t change so many slow play the balls. Same game plan as first time against us. This is not how other games are officiated.

Yes they are not combining well and that was discussed through the week. Saying the same thing now isn’t anything new. Warriors were lucky Dufty decided to hold RTS back.

Also how is a strip by RTS over the line on Lafai anything other than dropout? Missed the strip on Vaughn in that ugly tackle. So many poorly refereed incidents.

The team seems to be complacent and lacking energy/urgency/enthusiasm.

The stupid one has been telling this team they are a shoe in for a top 4 finish.

Both sides started nervously.

Saints made far too many mistakes in the first half and let Warriors off the hook at key moments.

Going to be a longgggg weekend after that performance.

The Fat Lady has entered the Theatre.

Another performance like that and we are a chance of missing the finals.

Watch how deep Souths were standing last night and the speed they hit the line at, it’s called momentum. Our forwards are flat and then often stop to catch the ball , result no momentum. The most fired up I’ve seen Sims recently was when he was elbowed in the neck. Absolutely disgraceful performance and it’s starts with the coach and his assistants.

I respectfully disagree. The game wasn’t lost on account of slow play the balls & Pereira not scoring.
Lafai dropping it over the line(a junior footy player knows to go low), Hunt with a miserable kicking game(again) & poor support play(a consistent occurrence)is where it was lost.
To suggest otherwise is to absolve the coach & main players of any blame.

That calls for coaching..........
Just imagine having your Kiwi mates in front of my TV and I'm the only one wearing the Red V. Better second half but not enough. Neither team was that inspiring. C'mon Crusaders against the Lions. Another tough one. I'm digressing...

They have loads of ball and can not break the defence. The passing along the backline is too slow and the centres are absolutely useless. Host, Vaughan, Graham and Ross injured along with Mac Donald. As usual, the wheels have fallen off. Someone should take over as coach immediately.

i said about a month ago come mid next season the knives will be out for our million dollar man Hunt based on what i saw from him recently... fast forward a month and now i am not so sure it will take until next season for the knives to be out... we really arent getting elite performances consistently enough to justify his elite salary..

if i see little boy Mann continue to play as a middle defender and get brushed away whilst he tries to jumper grab in defence one more time......... what the hell is supercoach thinking?

Lafai dead set the only centre in the NRL that could have bombed that try....

anyway the rest of my thoughts are rinse and repeat from the last several years under supercoach......

I have never seen a worse attack. Watching the under 8’s at half time they have a better structure. We just pass from side to side hoping something will happen. Its rediculous. I really don’t know what they are expecting will happen. Is this the crap they are being coached?

The warriors defence is looking world class. We are just not asking any questions.

I really wish 9th place was closer, its going to be so embarrassing getting bundled out of the semis in the first week.
Well done Mary...4 losses in the last 5 games...back on point.

+ 1st time warriors have won at Win stadium since 96....Breaking records...Doust will probably extend his contract....
Rather than blame individual players...the buck stops with the coach...there were many who were poor today, but the coach is playing guys who are not 100% and its back firing again....he should have given guys like Lawrie/sele/Host etc longer minutes months ago so that guys like DeBelin/frizz/Graham could be fresh........Line speed was slow...attacking options Poor ....Right edge has been an issue for 2 years...
I agree with everthing you say re the coach.....I could tell after 3 mins that we wernt prepared for this game..........but as for some individuals like Lafai and Aitken I can blame them.....the piss poor attempt by Lafai to ground the ball for the no try, instead of trying to push away the defender he only had to dive low and away from fullback to score...for Aitken he cant even play the ball properly not to mention his turnstile defence.....and lastly as much as ive loved and supported Nightie Surely he must know its time for him to fall on his sword...its obvious the coach is not going to push him so its up to Jason to relegate himself imo

Two great imposter teams played today.
Neither side is any threat to the comp and will make early exits.
Anyone drawing any positives from the game is delusional and not willing to face facts.
This scenario has been coming for months and purely on fitness alone we delayed it a couple of weeks compared to previous years.
Even the dud sides are lifting at the back end of the season and we will be hard pressed to beat any of them.
For all the people that said, people who stated that this would happen were death riders, fake supporters etc etc go and give yourselves an uppercut and when you get up from that give yourself another one.
The roster is ordinary especially in the backs, our coaching staff is worse and our much vaunted forward pack has been outgunned for months.
The thought that Graham & Hunt were good enough to make the difference has been proven wrong and in fact their collective worth to the side is now questionable as we are in exactly the same hole we dug for ourselves 6 years ago and their form is on the decline just like so many others.
Our 2 tries today just typifies how much of a struggling & clueless side we really are.
After looking at how sad this all is I wouldn't be surprised to see any external applicants for the CEO's job to take their hats out of the ring and quietly walk away from the basket case we truly have become.

Give us a coach that knows what to do and get these capable players firing when it matters.[/QUOTE]

Hate to say this but that is the only ray of hope the Dragons may have for next season .
With a number of other coaches on the market in 2019 the Dragons may be able to puss off Mr. Ineptitude and catch one of those who can actually get his players up for a game - in ability and that will to win at all costs .

We have become a basket case , too big a mess who ever takes over they will earn their money to clean the place out , then start the rebuild if its not too late .....
